Bio and Links
Bio Photo I wrote the following few paragraphs when I first started researching my tree. They are as true today as they were back then. However, If there's one thing that has shown to be more important than anything else it's teamwork!! No one person can document all the information that needs to be made public. That's why the edit tab at the top of your profile page is so important. Please give a look at that list of entries as often as possible. As you process the entries, visiting the memorial pages and comparing them to your own work is crucial and informative. You'll find family members that you were never able to find before, because now, they've been linked. Genealogy is not fiction, its facts. Facts about every person listed. Check it out, you never know what may have been added since your last visit.

As far as genealogy is concerned, I guess I'm a "newbie" started in 2005. My mother died in April, my step father died in July, and my sister died in October all in 2005. It finally dawned on me that all my history was gone. I've found some great people out there willing to help me to put my "tree" together. I want to give back as much as I've gotten. I take pictures of headstones in cemeteries that I visit and intend to do more. I want to share those photos with anyone who wants to use them.

If I've input some of your family and they are not relatives of mine, I'll gladly transfer them to you. Please use the edit tab on the memorial page to make your suggestions and add your links. The common courtesy of asking for changes and links instead of demanding is appreciated.

I can't stress enough the importance of the edits tab. The edit tab contains a list of corrections or additions that someone else has found for established memorials. Please look at this tab and process the ones listed for you. This is one of best "team" projects for genealogy. Let's all contribute the little pieces of information that everyone else may not have. IT'S ALL IMPORTANT.

RE: Preston-Dade Co., Missouri
I appreciate the photos you have put on the memorials of Elizabeth and John! It's the first I've seen of any. I've worked to connect as many of the children and parents on Find A Grave so what information I have on them should be reached by clicking on the names. Elizabeth was a sister of my g-grandfather, Daniel Hunt, who is buried in the Round Grove Cem. in Lawrence Co., MO as is their mother, Elizabeth Allen Hunt.

I saw that you had left flowers for this memorial. Do you want a transfer? I have no idea why this memorial was transferred to me by the person who originally put it up, since I am not a relative.

Dana: Are you related to the Dade Co., Missouri Preston family? Elizabeth Hunt Preston, married to John Preston, was an aunt of my maternal grandfather. Lynda West Hahn

Dana, We thank you so much for "finding" our family member!! We have made the correction to our records and you may now delete the duplicate. We will send edits for the other Warnicks in this cemetery as we can. Had no idea this cemetery was there. Is there a way to add the photos in the link you sent to the find a grave memorials? We really appreciate your "suggestion."

RE: Thank You!!!
I was hoping you wouldn't mind. I get memorials transferred to me from a person that doesn't want to maintain the emails and updates after he creates them. I noticed you had most all of the other memorials for this surname so I took a chance! Thanks and thanks for all you do with Findagrave. Kerry

RE: Thank You
You are so welcome. Hope you found the pics that you needed to there. I think I pretty much got the whole cemetery photographed there. At least the ones that I could read.
