My wife and I love taking photos around St Clair & Sanilac Counties. We've found the graves of several of our own relatives while fulfilling photo requests, so it's a win-win situation.|
Surnames we are researching include McCallum, Baker, Black, Cole, Keltner, & Ravin. If one of our memorials is a relative of yours, we would love to hear from you.

|Bill ||William Wolfel|
My name is Bill Moskwa, and I'm a member of the American Legion Post 255 here in Croswell, Mi. Because of my interest in the Civil War I was asked to check on local CW Veterans. I was shocked when I went to Huckins Cemetery. There are 3 flags placed there but there are no headstones, worst yet no one seemed to know who they were. Thru my research I found the memorial to William Wolfel. I was thrilled as I now knew one and had his picture. I have a meeting in the Lexington Twp. office later today to try to find more info on the others. My questions to you are
Are you a relative
Have you ever visited the grave
Do you have any more info on Private William wolfel.
The Veterans Adminitation will put a new headstone with proof that he is there and with permission of the family or the Cemetery. "FREE" This is my hope.

I noticed your names as Caretakers for my Aunt Melody McCallum's grave. She was my mother's, Carol McCallum, baby sister. Just curious as to how you related? For some reason, my grandma didn't keep contact with the McCallums. I would love to my family.

My aunt, Helen (McCallum) Archer was a sister to Donald McCallum, who was killed during World War II. Her son, Garry Archer, is interested in talking to Don & Wendy McCallum -- if this is possible please e-mail me and I will forward the information to Garry. Thanks.

I don't think this deserves a public letter but it is the only option you give me. Am I absolutely certain that Elizabeth is buried in the Memorial cemetery, NO, but that is the information I have. I was not aware that there also was a Municipal cemetery. Also you have me a little confused because you state that her husband was Edward but her husband was George Lemon Baker. Please note that Lemon only has one M in it. I'm only too happy to correct any mistake I may have. I want my data to be as accurate as possible.
Thank you for making me aware of this but I need some proof too. I will post George in the Municipal Cemetery because there is a photo of his headstone shown on his memorial.

Don and Wendy thanks for your work and message. I wish I had known him in person and not just from what I have been told. I feel strongly about that even at 71 yrs. Thanks Again!
