Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi!

A little about me...I'm a amateur photographer/genealogist/findagraver as well as an extremely proud mommy to six children (3 girls/3boys) and 16 grandchildren! :) I've been working on my own family tree since about 1994...not long after my Grama passed away...she raised me and so I do occasionally refer to her as my Mommy. Family that I am working on are Sanders, Denny/Denney, Cummins, Daglish, McCord, Heater, Galbreath and Lobb. I live with my best Ed as I call him! and our doggie, Jettie. I found Findagrave while researching our family and have been a die hard "Graver" since!

Update: Married my best friend, My Ed, Oct 3, 2014 and am now officially a "new" person lol

PLEASE If you want to request a transfer or updates to memorials do that through the "edit" tab/suggest a correction!!!! When I have many many many edits/transfers/messages to read and answer it gets frustrating to have to look up the memorials for each request when if done correctly I can just click on the link included with the suggestion/edit...quicker for me to get it done for you :) :)

If someone has an issue with any memorial I am involved with please be polite and adult and send a note through the SAC feature and I'll gladly do whatever I can to make you happy! Leave me a rude hateful message and I'll first delete it and then forget about it. That way I'm returning the favor!

From Find A Grave's FAQ...
"The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."

I have no problem whatsoever doing any updates or links to my memorials and definitely will transfer if I'm not related and you have a direct connection.
I love being able to link up entire families as far back or forward as possible!!! It's like a big puzzle and I also love puzzles :) It gives me a great feeling to get one done! I always try to find a little information to add to the memorials that I create so that it is more than the mere fact that someone was born and they died. Sometimes I'm unsuccessful but believe me I usually spend some time searching before I give up! Stubborness I guess lol.
If I ever add a picture to a memorial that you would rather I didn't please let me know but I prefer to hear from the "manager" of the memorial.

RE: Frederick William Barnes 13828628
Hi Colleen
Thanks for letting me use the photographs. I'll put it on my "to do" list so should be about a month but I'll get them done.
The reason I was so quick getting back to you is because I already have the photographs of all the panels at the Naval Memorial. I've managed to add a photograph to the memorials for all the men on the first 3 panels but there is a long way to go.........
Thanks again

Frederick William Barnes 13828628
Hi Colleen

I've added the photograph of panel 9, Lowestoft Naval Memorial for Frederick Barnes and have sent some information through about HMS Bedfordshire to be added, hopefully, to his page.

Are you doing all the men on the HMS Bedfordshire Memorial? If not, do you mind if I use your photographs and add them to their memorials at Lowestoft? I won't get around to doing them for a month or so but would be happy to do them.

Capt. William Daniel Gaskill
I am not sure where the lost at sea came from unless I just made a mistake. I did find his death certificate and it said he died in Okracoke. He was a store keeper at the time of his death.

RE: Duplicate Tobrocke
Appreciate the teamwork in getting this one down from three memorials to two...and I love your profile because I, too, love puzzles and am stubborn and tenacious once I get started on a memorial, lol. We'd make good detectives!

Sometimes you can spray shaving cream on a grave marker and wipe over it with a piece of cardboard and it may help reveal engraving.
Also, I am looking for any info on Ammerman's, mostly prior to 1900. Some Ammerman's moved from KY to IN in the 1830's - 1840's. My line went to Decatur Co, a different line moved to the Hamilton Co area.
