Hi!
A little about me...I'm a amateur photographer/genealogist/findagraver as well as an extremely proud mommy to six children (3 girls/3boys) and 13 going on 15 grandchildren! Two more due this year :-) I've been working on my own family tree since about 1994...not long after my Grama passed away...she raised me and so I do occasionally refer to her as my Mommy. I live with my best friend...my Ed as I call him! and our doggie, Jettie, and kitty cat Walter. I found Findagrave while researching our family and have been a die hard "Graver" since!
And it has started again...rude people posting public messages...if someone has an issue with any memorial I am involved with please be polite and adult and send a note through the SAC feature and I'll gladly do whatever I can to make you happy! Leave me a rude hateful message and I'll first delete it and then forget about it. That way I'm returning the favor!!!!!!!
******************* From Find A Grave's FAQ... "The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it." *************************************************
I love Findagrave! I'm on here almost every day doing some sort of picture adding, memorial updateing, etc... I love hanging out with my grandkids and wandering the cemeteries taking pictures. This has become my obsession. I try to finish adding all the pictures from one cemetery before going to another but I've found that I can't resist going back out when the weather is nice. I have no problem whatsoever doing any updates or links to my memorials and definitely will transfer if I'm not related and you have a direct connection. I love being able to link up entire families as far back or forward as possible!!! It's like a big puzzle and I also love puzzles :) It gives me a great feeling to get one done! I always try to find a little information to add to the memorials that I create so that it is more than the mere fact that someone was born and they died. Sometimes I'm unsuccessful but believe me I usually spend some time searching before I give up! Stubborness I guess lol. If I ever add a picture to a memorial that you would rather I didn't please let me know but I prefer to hear from the "manager" of the memorial

THIS IS A CEMETERY ----- "Lives are commemorated - deaths are recorded - families are reunited - memories are made tangible - and love is undisguised. This is a cemetery.
Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek information and our heritage is thereby enriched.
Testimonies of devotion, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life -not the death - of a loved one.
The cemetery is homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.
A cemetery is a history of people - a perpetual record of yesterday and sanctuary of peace and quiet today.
A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering - always." --Author unknown – ****************** NOT GONE
you are not gone, not really. feeling you, knowing you, sensing you- it is more real now than any long ago touch. we have marked your resting place; a stone stands where you sleep and we come to it on occasion to remember what made you, you. we miss your smile, undeniably but in the missing is a joy, an unexplainable, resolute sunshine that lingers carefully like some untold secret. we touch your name engraved there like a father touching his child for the very first time and there is this, this internal knowing. one that surpasses memories, one that overwhelms remembrance, one that confirms the exacting power of the present and tells us that you are not gone, not really and we are, after all that has passed, still one.

 | Thank you so much Thank you for the tombstone pictures for Jesse Claude Lawson and his wife Clara Leona Miller Lawson in the Fairview Methodist Church graveyard. This really means a lot to me. They are the grandparents of my Ex- husband. I am putting together a family geneology book for my children as my Ex sweet, loving, adorable wife will not let his children have anything of his including the family bible. I knew a lot and have found a lot on Ancestry.com. I got obits and when possible pictures. These pictures were unexpected as someone had added lots of Lawsons on Findagrave in that cemetery, but not these two, I assumed there were no markers. I added them using only Obits for pictures. An unmarked grave is another lost person in time and I truely appreciate your time and kindness for these two. THANK YOU FOREVER JewellAdded by J T Moon on May 21, 2013 5:56 PM | | | Dorthy D
