 | RE: Carl Hemmelgarn No I am not, just working on the Colfax Cemetery.. uploading pics, etc.. sending out corrections if I notice them.. if you want a transfer, just go to edit and that way it's easier to do it | | | MJohnson
 | RE: Hemmelgarn Photos I was so excited when I realized that so many of the unmarked graves had been identified. A relative of yours (Mary) is one of the volunteers that are so much work to identify those graves. Coincidently, we are both volunteering at the museum in Perham. I just started but she has been there for about ten years. MarionAdded by MJohnson on Sep 13, 2012 4:44 AM | | | anna geis
 | RE: Mathews Family Hello, I do not own the memorial for Ray R., but I will ask the owner to tie to Andrew and Saraphina.
Did you realize there are two memorials for Saraphina?
The one you added #1742828 and the Longmont Historical Society also added one #60873667.
Nellie is tied to yours, Dasie is tied to theirs.
I have asked the Longmont Society to untie Dasie from #60873667 and tie Dasie to yours #1742848, and then delete their memorial.
Do you have any info about where Fannie is buried? I see a baby Mathews buried in the Mountain View Cemetery b) unknown d) unknown....I guess this could be Fannie. Otherwise, I see nothing more about a Fannie M.
I see an obit for Andrew A (Longmont Ledger April 23, 1926) and Saraphina (Longmont Ledger Feb 29, 1924) I have these obits on my list to get next time I get to the Longmont Library.

 | RE: J. Henderson Crowner Suzanne, Hello. I assumed that you were possibly a relative because you maintain so many memorials for the Crowner family. Thank-you for sharing with me and yes...I will add Henderson's parents to his memorial. I did not meet my great- grandmother. She died the year I was born. My mother loved her dearly and spoke fondly of her baked bread and love for scripture. Again, thank-you for your time. -Heather | | | chevydelray55

 | RE: Jessie Wallace Haight Pike Hi Suzanne,
I am questioning whether this individual was the one married to George E. Pike. Her birth is recorded as 1885 on her marker, and the Jessie listed as the wife of George E. Pike on the 1910, 1920, and 1930 US censuses and the 1925 Iowa census, all for Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, has her birth year estimated to be 1880 or 1881. She is listed as Jessie Pike on the 1915 Iowa census for Waterloo, Iowa. That census was done on individual cards, and has no reference to family members.
Upon review of the 1880 US census for North Greenbush, Rensselaer, NY, a four month old daughter, named Jessie S., was residing in the household of Samuel J. and Abbie Haight. This is most likely the same person listed as the wife of George E. Pike in the 1925 Iowa census (daughter of Samuel J. and Adelaide Haight). She is also listed as a daughter in the household of Samuel J. and Cornilia A. Haight in the 1900 US census for Albany, Albany, NY. Her birth month and year are recorded as Jan 1880.
The birth and death dates on the memorial page were found in the Social Security Death Index, with a final residence listed as Waterloo, Iowa.
I hope that this makes sense. It appears that Jessie S. and George E. were married sometime between 1900 and 1910, and that the person buried in this space is another Jessie Pike, and not the daughter of Samuel and Adelaide.
Thoughts?
