Bio Photo Hi,
I have been doing genealogy/cemetery research for 30+ years. I am in south Louisiana, a place rich in interesting history, and would be willing to help in anyone else's research.

Re: St Anne Catholic Cemetery, Napoleonville, LA
You have a listing for a Minta Joffrion Dugas. Bobby fulfilled my request for a tombstone photo. On it, there is a Kathryn C Dugas - lost at sea. I have created a memorial but cannot find anything on her. There is also a Dorothy Landy Joffrion in the same tomb. Do you have anything on Kathryn? Guess I'm just nosy, but, I am curious as to what happened.
Thank you.

I just found that one of the other women in this vault has the same maiden name so this has to be right. I am posting the photo and if you feel anything needs to be edited on your end... I won't put in an "edit" request.

Hi Erik,
I took a photo of a vault that I am fairly sure goes with your Eulalie Pfeiffer but some slight differences so I didn't want to just post if. The vault at St. Louis Cemetery 3 is the Morton family tomb and she is listed as Eulalie Morton Pfeiffer born 1866 dies 1943. Peter isn't listed on the marker. A google search does bring up the maiden name you. I am thinking she married twice but was still buried in the Morton family vault. The year of birth you have is 2 years different. I do see her with Paul and the 1866 birth on a census so I do think this is the right one. Do you want me to just post it and if not correct, you can delete?

Do you know where in the Ascencion Cemetery his grave is? Or have a list of who is buried in the Esneault Famille grave?

RE: Adele Hotard Klibert
This is wonderful! You got me placed in the right pocket--yep! I'm Rita Klibert & Wilfred Etienne Vicknair's only chickadee. My father's side of the family is well-mapped out via several sites. Today I used the Perilloux Family Genealogy page to trace the Wichners/Vicknairs back to 1720. There is a Wichner Family page recently established on Facebook, as well.

From early childhood we would visit Uncle Olivier & Tante Alte & their family. My last visit there was 2 yrs.before Uncle Olivier died. Therese & Oliver, Jr.were still in the home. Therese was attending a "school"--riding a schoolbus to the program. That made everyone happy. I remember Oliver speaking French to his mother that day. He was bed-bound.
Their youngest son, Dwight & his family, lived next door. Dwight was such a blessing.

Eric, I don't have any pictures--zero! But maybe cousin Dwight might have some. If I think of anything else or if you have any questions, let me know. BTW Greatgrandfather Charles Hotard lived a very long life--dying the year I was born. My grandmother, Adele, was the eldest daughter & when her mother, Josephine Mahler, died rather young, Adele took over the care of the family. I came to a dead end trying to find anything about Josephine Mahler--recall hearing that she spoke German.

Adele's husband was Frank Klibert, son of Landrieu Klibert (died very young) & Coralie Oubre (I think) but I met a dead end there, too. Believe that Frank is the first one to spell the name Klibert--vs.Kliebert. Frank had one sister.

I don't remember meeting Uncle Adlar. Tell me about your wife, my cousin. Do ya'll still live in LaFourche Parish? I was born & brought up in N.O., but have lived in Shreveport for 46 yrs.

I deleted but now you don't have the other people buried there to complete your research. Let me know if you want the other photos of the markers in the future.

RE: Memorial 82967876
I always take photos of all markers that are on one plot so that whomever is doing their research can tie the families together that are buried there. There are 3 markers on this plot (the main one is gone). 2 are standing up and visible in the photo of the full family plot (which is BENNETT plot). If you look at that photo, you see Van and Vivian and one in between that is a flatter marker and not visible from that angle. That is the second photo posted of Edward McGill. Again, I posted it so that all markers for one plot are together so you can tie your family that is buried there together. I do have each marker in separate photos if you'd prefer to have the photo of the plot and each individual marker. If you only want the plot photo or just the individual photo of Van's marker, I can change it. Just let me know your preference. (I can simply email them to you if you prefer that.)

No, these is the right photos of the plot. There are 3 markers there. 2, including Van's are visible in the full plot photo but the other wasn't visible since it was laying flat. They go together but I can delete the other if you prefer all markers not be posted.
