When I lost my husband, Phil Stephens, I was compelled to do something to ensure he would not be forgotten. That his grandchildren and great-granchildren would know who he was, even if they'd never met him. After I completed his Memorial bio, I decided I was going to do the same for all of our family members. They too, deserve to be remembered.
While still in the throws of grief, I have found some comfort in doing the Memorials. Comfort in knowing there is a place where our descendants, near and far, can learn about and see photos of those who came before them - long after there is no one left to tell the story.
This is for my children, their children, and their children's children.
