RE: Anna Elizabeth Bussard Stingley
Where did I give a birth date of 1725? My last word (so far as I recall) as to her date of birth was in "Stingley Family Traditions and Genealogy," which has "(b. ca. 1720)." Since she apparently was married to Oberholtzer and is said to have had a son by him BEFORE her 1751 marriages to Stingley, any date in the 1720s is plausible but should be preceded by "ca." until a reasonably sure baptismal record can be found in Germany or Switzerland, a piece of information that I am not pursuing. ...Mark

You're very welcome, Bill. I'm happy you found your wife's ancestor. I love the beautiful photos on your family's memorials!

Windows 10
It was the only way they could fix my computer and I'm more frustrated now than ever. It does things I don't want it to do. The other day it wouldn't allow me to type spaces between my words. It adds extra blank lines between the lines of my paragraphs and takes spells where it runs reaaaaalllllll slllllooowwwww. Have a great day.

RE: David Auld
I'm having the same problem with all of the William and Mary Sawhills in our tree. Sometimes I just want to scream. Every generation for had Williams, Marys and Alexanders to beat the band.

I'm relatively new at this can you combine David's
two memorials? I cant' say that Mary is in South
Buffalo, but I know he is.
Thanks
Valerie

Hope this comes through alright, I just switched to Windows 10 and it's not handling find a grave
very well.

RE: David Auld
There was no stone for his wife Mary. The cemetery is old and a lot of the stones are broken and split. His stone however was made of some good stone that is still legible. Thank you for your quick response and keep up the good work.

David Auld
While in the South Buffalo Cemetery near Claysville My sister photographed a headstone for David Auld who passed on 22 June 1858. We just posted it to the David Auld memorial in the South Buffalo cemetery. Could the memorial for the David Auld in South Buffalo and the Buffalo be the same man?

Hi,
I was wondering if you have any connection with David Auld and his wife Jane. My information is that there was an additional child James who "drops out of sight". I have a James Hugh Auld who was born in 1788 on the ship which David and Jane came to America in. James Hugh Auld would be my 3rd great grandfather. Because of the way he named his children, using the custom of naming the first 2 boys after grandfathers and the first 2 girls after grandmothers, I think David and Jane are the names of his parents. However I can't prove that this David and Jane are the same as the Find A Grave David above. If you can shed light on this, I would be grateful. Thanks. Annette

Repetitive SACs
Goodness, one repeated 28 times and the other 26!! Sorry! Find A Grave doesn't have a direct line that I know of, so I sent notification via e-mail.

OMG....I did NOT send all those duplicate SACs!! (This has to be a glitch at Find A Grave.)
