I am 52 years old and have been doing family history for about 8 years now. I have found out so much about my ancestors that I feel like I know some of them. It is an unreal feeling! I only regret that I didn't start doing this when my parents were alive! They would have been amazed at the relatives we have and never knew it! My advice to everyone: Ask questions now. If you don't it may never be known! Look up your history! You may find things that you never knew! Just remember, if you don't find it out today, it may be lost forever tomorrow!!! Some families know so little about teir history because they don't ask and no one offers. Believe me it is hard when nothing is known to get you started!
Our family names are: Holliday/Holaday/Holladay/Holiday, Lowery, Wardlow, Bryant, Moore, Abner, Henry, Bizzell, Latham, Nettles, and West. On my husbands side are the names of; Bienvenu, Danahay, Crawford, Funk, Labbe', Barras, Broussard, Stiner and krohe. I would love to hear from any one who may be related. I have a lot of info on most names and would welcome any info anyone may want to share. I try to post people photos and grave photos when I have them for each of my pages. You are welcome to copy any of them. | |

I'm sorry Anita, but they were only married around 4 years when she was killed. The family did not say much about the Holliday family. Wish I could have been of help.
