Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm the family genealogist for my family and that of my husband. The names I'm researching are FRAZEE, FRANKEBERGER, MENSCH, VAN CAMP, YEAGER, HONE, BROWN, and LANCE. Please email me if any of these surnames are of interest to you.

I appreciate all the help Find A Grave contributors and photographers have extended to people, like me, who enjoy tracing the lineage of not only a direct ancestor but their siblings. Because of it, I have been able to assist others in "finding their roots" as well.

If you are a descendant of someone I have added, I will gladly transfer any relative unless they are related to me. I will also add information if you send it to me. Please understand, if the edit conflicts with my records including cemetery records, I will ask for verifiable proof. Please use the EDIT tab on the person's memorial page (top right) then scroll down to the appropriate category or for general information use SUGGEST ANY OTHER CORRECTION or ADDITION.

Yocom in Saint Luke's Cemetery
George, Bessie and Florence Yocom are inscribed on their headstone which is found in Saint Luke's Cemetery in Shoemakersville. They are correct memorials. Carol & Pete

RE: John William Frankeberger

The "Frankeberger" stone without any given names was a fairly new stone and right next to an old weather worn stone with the name Margreta Frankeberger. If you go to her F-A-G Memorial # 91934843 you can hardly read the inscriptions. The Sexton's Directory Log is in a structure showing the map of the cemetery and we found a number of Frankeberger's buried in Sterling Cemetery. The wind was atrocious and my wife and I gave up before we could find all of the stones but plan to go back at a more pleasant weather day soon. In the above mentioned Directory John and Margreta are both listed as 42-2 gravesite as well as a Clara Frankeberger. If you send me your email address I can send you a picture of the cemetery map with some of our handwritten notes.

Amos Hafer
I got your message about Amos Hafer's Civil War service. I added a photo of his Civil War Military Card from the PA Archives.
Are you related to Amos? I am a descendant of his sister Sarah. If interested, I am happy to share any info I have collected on the family - contact me directly at

RE: James Hone
Hi Marina,
You are very welcome. Glad to assist. Also, with James, I found and photographed Mary (1905 -1986). I uploaded the photo to her memorial site. Enjoy the photos. Pat

Done. What I find interesting is that a photo was posted of her marker today which also included an update for her birth date.

RE: Susan Fritz Straub
I am way behind on corrections. I deleted Susan Fritz Straub. What else did I do that I should delete? I know I should remember but age will do that.

They had five children that I know of. Francis, Albert, Marie, Florentine Jr., and George.
You can also see these children in the 1880 federal census.
