Jon lives in Kirkland, WA with his wife Deanna. His mother was Edna Louise Chenoweth, born to Harry Edward Chenoweth and Minnie Jane Holt. Harry had come out to the Seattle area from Pineville, MO about 1912. This in the line of the 3rd generation Thomas, son of John. Jon has been doing Chenoweth genealogy and hosting the Chenoweth website since 1996. He has attended all 7 national reunions (thru 2012) and made presentations at each of them. He graduated in 1966 from the University of Washington
I would be more than glad to manage any Chenoweth memorial since I basically know who all these people were. This fall (2012) I manage just over 1,100 Chenoweth pages out of 4,700 plus pages created so far. Though 90% of the family uses this spelling "Chenoweth", there are other variants like Chenowith, Chinouth, Chenowth, Chinowth, Chinworth, Chenworth, Chineworth as well as variants of Chennyworth and Channyworth. Chynoweth and Chinneth are not part of the family of John Chenoweth and Mary Calvert, who comprise over 90% of the present population of US Chenoweths. March 21, 1923 - December 20, 2007
Robert R. Chenoweth, age 84, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the Carrollton Life Care Center.
Robert was born March 21, 1923 in Carroll County, Missouri.
He was married to his wife, Annie, in Englewood, Colorado. Robert had been a crane operator in heavy equipment construction. He was a member of the Carrollton Jehovah's Witnesses. He was a veteran.
Robert is survived by three children, Evelyn Henderson, Robert N. Chenoweth and Rolland E. Chenoweth.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2007 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, with Tommy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Brotherton-Little Adkins Cemetery, Wakenda, Missouri.
The body will lie in state at Gibson Funeral Home from 1-5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2007.
Contributions may be made to the family's choice in memory of Mr. Chenoweth.
