Dear Ann,

When I created your great grandfathers memorial I mentioned that I did so with the burial records and that I did not find a stone in the given lot.
Fly creek Valley is one of a few cemeteries I photographed entirely. I am sorry there was no stone for him in the entire cemetery. So I went ahead and posted the photos of lot 161 for you.

There are quite a few lots which have no stones on it or just the mother, father or first name with no dates and no family stone.

The burial list for Fly Creek Valley you can find on theusgenweb.org if you would like me to get you the phone number for the cemetery to verify the lot number let me know and I will get it for you.
Ingrid.

RE: Thanks
Hi Ann, You're welcome. Judy took several Aldrich photos in the South Plymouth Cemetery. She plans to email me some more of them to post on Find A Grave. She has the photo of Charles' wife, Ruphina. I'll post that when I get it. - Teresa

James Prentis, Somers, CT
Hi,

I'll be happy to locate this stone for you once the snow melts. We received about 30" yesterday, so it may be awhile. I have located the individual on my database, but show the last name is spelled Prentice, vice Prentis. I have the exact location the gentleman is buried, but it is possible that there is no stone left. The information I have is:
James Prentice
DOB: Unknown
DOD: Oct 25, 1786
AE. 72 yrs
Location: Tier 4, FT.N 240, 25W (N-Orig)
I show six others (buried in Somers' cemeteries) with the same last spelling as Prentice, and one with a maiden name of Prentis.

Cheers,
Dave McCaffrey
