RE: Daniel Pierce - 70269569
Hello Sue :)
Here is the link:

http://liberty.advantage-preservation.com/document/liberty-register-1902-05-16-page-3

It's housed in the Liberty Public Library. The Liberty Register is available there online (YAHOO!)

If that doesn't work, I'd be glad to send you a JPG version :)

Daniel Pierce - 70269569
Good Morning Sue,
I have located an obituary for Daniel Pierce in the Liberty Register (Liberty, Sullivan, New York) dated May 16, 1902 - it was a wire post originally published in the Sycamore (Ill) City Weekly. It's rather a long column and was hesitant to upload it to the memorial. Daniel was born in Neversink, Sullivan County, New York and I suppose that is why it was published locally.
ANYWHO - I understand you are a historian and if you would like the links to the Liberty Register please give me a yell :)
Have a fun day!

RE: Anna Lane
You're welcome. Wish there was more to it. Having Job on it and 72 were the deciding factors that this was her stone.

RE: Stephen Townsend
Hi Sue!
We've communicated before through Ancestry.com. We have some tree crossovers, so I'm assuming we are some sort of distant cousins. I'm related through Stephen's daughter Kate Ann. I've been doing quite a lot of research on the Townsend's and have found some pretty cool things. Please email me at carolsco71@skywerx.com so we can compare notes. You shared your tree with me already, which was very helpful.

Thanks for tending to the Townsend's graves! It's great that you are still where they lived.

Carol
