William Tracy Death 1891 Chicago
Hello Nick,
I was looking through Find A Grave and found your entry of a newspaper obituary of William Tracy 1821-1891, buried in Calvary Cemetery in Evanston, IL. Died 19 Oct 1891. You put in a newspaper obituary for his death. I was wondering if you might be able to give me the cite to this newspaper please. I would certainly appreciate it. Thank you most kindly.

Nancy,
Thanks for sending me the town of Letterbrock in Westport, Co. Mayo for Sister's birth place.
I do have Westport, but the drop down menu does not have Letterbrock listed.
It is listed in her bio tho.

Are you a relative, or did you know her?
Thanks so much for your input.

David McGreal
Hello Nancy,

You are indeed correct. Have gone over the work I previously did back in July 2012 for another McGreal query on Rootschat and note the addition of Death certs and more records at LDS which will require a closer look.

He appears as a sponsor on a handful of baptism's as a sponsor for other McGreal children primarily in the Doughmakeon area and then disappears mid 1860's. The David who died in 1914 from his dates and parentage was baptized 10 Jan 1866 sponsors James Malley and Mary Walshe. The Christian name David is not common amongst the McGreal families and it's not a great leap to suggest he was a nephew of David (decd 1911)as both appear to have died in Clinton. From what I have there were two other brothers to David Sr., Pat and John who never married and other children of Austin and Catherine ended up in Chicago and Pittsburg.

Any way thanks for the correction and will address it later today.

Hi Nancy
Thanks for the information supplied for Anne and James Joyce, at rest in Gloshpatrick Cemetery in Murrisk.

Just wondered if you are related, I can transfer these Memorials to you if you wish.

Re : Leenane Cemetery, Galway
Hi Nancy

You could send an email to Findagrave admin to have them change the details for the Cemetery.

I cannot change the description as I didn't create this Cemetery, (only added Memorials to it)

Regards

Dympna
