Bio Photo Born in Rochester, MN, moved to Savannah, GA, and then to TN. I own my own graveyard now, those sites that the Samsel family is in. My favorite graveyard is in Hensley Settlement on top of Cumberland Mountain in Tennessee. I accomplished my goal of getting to Zoar Cemetery in Charlemont, MA. Looking for more goals!

Laurie Samsel Olson
Jesse Franklin Samsel
Hello Tarry ...

My name is Laurie Samsel Olson. My grandfather was Jesse Franklin Samsel from Bean Station, Tennessee. He was the son of William David Samsel and Mary J. Gammon. Born March 10, 1890 and died February 13, 1932. He is buried in Meadow Branch Cemetery in Bean Station. I never knew him since he died when my father was still a child. I am the keeper of family photo albums and memorabilia left by Jesse's ex and only wife, Beulah. There is not a single picture of Jesse. I've been looking for any extended family members who may have an old photo or two in their archives. It seems that you and I might be distant cousins. Have you heard of Jesse Samsel and would you happen to have any photos?

Thanks so much for your response.

Could you transfer Art Loppnow #46868318 to me if he is not a family member. He was the father of Alton who was my father-in-law.

RE: Elba graves
Yes, you can transfer the Nienow graves to me. They are my great-great grandparents. Thanks for your work!

RE: Elba
I'm pretty sure it's ok. She was both a Palmer and a Churchill by marriage. Take a look at the obit and see what you think.
