Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Mt. Vernon, Knox, OH. Was adopted
by a good family, Pittmans, that lived in Mt.
Gilead, Morrow, OH. My biological family lived in
Knox Co., OH but moved there from Frankewing, Giles,
TN. My biological mama's name was Frances Immogene
Lovett. She was married twice..once to Robert
"Bobby" Norris and the 2nd time to Vernon Lee
Farmer. I lived in Mt. Gilead, OH until I was 4
years of age. My gma on my adopted side was
Georgia McWilliams-Pittman-Likens. I did not get
to grow up with her and hardly saw her after we
moved to California, in which I reside now.
I only started doing genealogy around 5 years ago.
And have enjoyed it ever since. I have researched
relatives and ancestors on both sides, bio and
adopted and have thru myself and others alot of
info on mostly on my adopted side. And on my
biological side I am researching Phillips, Lovett,
Harwell, Norris, McCoys, anyone related to Giles Co and these
families. But I am not as familiar with this
part of the family being as I was not brought up
with them. On the adopted part of the family I
am researching-Pittman, Barr, Mellott, McWilliams,
Palmer, Likens, Hatfields, Feigley, Truax, Truex,
and families related to them.
I am also researching on my husband's side
is the surname of Bunn and relatives of them.
His family came from IL. Springfield and Olney.
It does keep me busy.
If anyone has anything to offer on
any of the families I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in Advance, Sue
We just recently moved to Gainesville, GA and
loving it. Plus I have some relatives that live
here as well in the good state of GA.

Birdsong Cemetery-Giles Co. Tennessee
Good Morning:
I returned to the site of Birdsong again two days ago. Nothing has changed - private property.
I just wanted you to know about the site: If you are researching Giles Co. - this website is for you. Go to Giles County and then to Birdsong. They went to every cemetery they could access and took pictures of all visible stones. You will find that the surveyors could not find any stones for Sam Abernathy or Floy Birdsong. There are pictures of the rest of the requested stones.
Hope this site helps you as there is no easy access to this site. Blessings.

Sue, the only Bedwell connection to Sipe I have is a unknown first name male Sipe married to Grace Florence POOLE who is a daughter of Fielden Reece Poole and Drucy Salina BEDWELL, daughter of Felix Parks Bedwell from Grayson county Virginia. If this is't your connection I would like to know the details. thanks Don

I have Henderson's and Norris's in my tree, but I don't know how we might be connected without more information. -- Teresa a(

RE: Abernathy's
Hi, just got your message. My grandfather was James Solomon Wilson who is buried in Fannin Co TX. His parents were Richard P Wilson and Susie E Reynolds Wilson Queener--she married James C Queener following the death of my great-grandfather. She is also buried in Fannin Co TX. My great grandmother was Mary Allen Abernathy, the daughter of Erasmas Gilbert Abernathy and Mary Jane Rainey. Do any of these belong to you, too?

Would you please add memorial #46759096 for Frances "Fanny" Castleberry to Erasmus G Abernathy's memorial. She is the daughter or E G Abernathy and Mary Jane Rainey Abernathy. E G and Mary Jane are my great great grandparents. If there is any doubt that she is their daughter, her DC is listed on the find-a-grave site and you can read the information. Thanks in advance for your time. I really appreciate it.
