Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started working on my famliy tree in 1974. I think pulling teeth is easier than getting relatives to let loose with any information. You really have to start them talking and get them to slip up. If you ask a direct question for too much information you get nothing. Take your time and ask for just a bit here and there and you might have better luck.

I started photographing headstones for reference. Then I happened upon findagrave and decided to help the cause. While living in New Jersey, I made several trips to Suffern New York and photographed all the stones in three cemeteries near Rockland Community College, back in 2006. I am just now in 2010 getting around to uploading the data.

I have a large collection of photos from three Boise locations to upload. And may soon tackle the Snowflake, Arizona cemetery.

Please do ask me to transfer a record if you are related to them. Link to any record or use photos as per the Terms of Service. These are for you, not for me.

RE: Pauline Walker Rockland County Cemeteries
Thank you for such a quick reply. NY has not been very forthcoming about anything to do with the Rockland Mental Health Institutions in that area. I believe Pauline had been hospitalized there and maybe released at some time. I was lucky enough to get a death certificate fm NY that just arrived. It does list a funeral home and I will check there next. Thanks again, it is appreciated. Pat Johnson

Pauline Walker Rockland County Cemeteries
Hi Ken, This is Pat Johnson a fellow Find A Grave contributor. I am trying to find a half aunt, Pauline Walker, who is buried at Rockland County Welfare Cemetery, d. 21 Dec 1977. I have tried to figure out which one this is as I know there are several associated with Rockland Cty. I have not been able to find exactly which one it might be. I saw that you took most of the pictures for a Rockland Cty cemetery Sufferin. My question is have you posted all the pictures that you have taken? Or do you know which one is the Rockland Welfare Cemetery? I have searched and have not been able to determine which one it is. 2ndly, when I went to your msg page two of my ancestors Jesse Perkins, Rhonda McCleland show up on an inquiry. My sister is in an ancestrydna circle for these two as cousins. I know nothing of them at all but found it so interesting that they show up on your site when I am inquiring about another. Fascinating. Thank you for all your work for Find A Grave. PatriciaDavisJohnson

Thank you.
It look like her grave is mostly worn away. Is his marker on the other side of this stone? Do they share a marker? I cannot read any writing on it; but I am visually impaired.

Thank you. I looks like the grave is worn away alot from erosion or part of it broke off. Is it made of sandstone? I had a hard time reading it.
