Calvary: Section 13
You have request(s) in Section 13 at Calvary in Cleveland. I, and others, have filled over 200 requests since late March. Yours has been skipped on every visit as I don't have a map.

If you'd be so kind to call the office and tell them you're visiting when they're closed, such as on a Sunday, they will most likely agree to mail you a plot map. If you'd get this and then scan it to me I'd be happy to take a photo.

That said, I do want to make clear that 13 is one of the sections without a lot of stones. It's probable that there will not be a marker, if not I'll take a photo of the area where the burial should be. (There is of course a chance that there is a marker.)

RE: I just came from Oakdale
Ok, Abel has been refused. If you need any assistance let me know.

RE: I just came from Oakdale
You need to claim them before you head to the park, so we are not duplicating efforts. Would you like me to refuse them, so you can claim them and complete the process?

I am researching the Hungarian family name RINYO. Immigration to OHIO and the Cleveland area occured around the turn of the century. I believe that the spelling HRINYO is a direct connection. If you would like to share information please contact

Photo Requests in Calvary Cemetery Cleveland
I am writing to let you know that I was recently at the Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland. Huge is not the word for it, it is more then 100 sections with more then 1,000 graves in each section. Because of the enormity of it, a section map is required to find each marker. The office will only help you with 4 names and then they charge $5.00 per name. So if you would like me to try and find your love ones marker in a future trip could you please call the office at 216-641-7575 and ask for locations of your loved ones markers. If I know the location I will know which maps I need and the searching will be easier. Please note that this cemetery is 45 minutes away and I am not sure when I will return, but hope to go back at least once this summer.
