William Roberson
Lori-I am happy to take any pictures at the Santa Paula Cemetery. However, I see that William Roberson already has a picture of his marker on his memorial page. Did you want another one or from another viewpoint? Let me know.

Lanette Brown Hodge
Brown Family
Hi Lori,

My name is Lanette, I just recently came across your message on here. I have been researching my family tree and I am at a dead end and wondering if you could help with any of the info. It sounds as though we may possibly be distant kin. So what I do know is, I will start with George Christopher Brown, my GGGGgrandfather, his daughter Francis, my GGGgranmother, had a child named John Nance which is my Great Grandfather. So I believe our ggmothers are sisters right? ok so my question is what ever happened to Francis? after the 1880 census I can not locate her anywhere. Did she pass away or did she get married? Also do you happen to know where George is buried. or what about any stories on the family? Now before George, his father is Moses but from what i have he died young, like in his 40's but after him I have nothing, so just where did they originate from. Thank you so much for your time. I look forward to hearing back from you. This journy is so exciting.

Have a great day

L.H. Wheeless
My name is Ronald Wheeless. My great grandfather is Jesse Thomas Wheeless. I live in Northeast Arkansas (jonesboro) and have family in the Randolph County area. I saw a post that you have found that L.H is buried in a cemetary in Antioch. I am reserching my family as well. The only info we have is that Jesses dad was Barry. I have found some records that say this is probably "Berry" also listed as S.L.A. The 1880 census from White county shows some of Jesses brothers (John S. and Lora F.) but not Jesse as he was not born until 1889. Jesse and Lora both were married to Stone girls and this is easy enough to document. I would love to here from you and share any info we might have in common. I have a bible that belonged to my grandmother and it has some of Jesses siblings listed. They are Lori F., Johnnie (John S.), Janie, Tennie, and Effie. We also have a few pictures of Jesse and his wife Mintora. I will see if i can scan these and send them to you if you would like.

Thanks,
Ronald Wheeless

Mary Ettie Brown Wheeless
Lori,
Your great grandmother was a sister to my great grandmother, Easter Adeline Brown Stone. My mom has heard throughout her life that Easter and Ettie were full blood Cherokee Indian. We haven't found the documentation to prove that though. I found that George C. Brown, the sisters dad, was married before to Nancy Rachel Heffington (Brown). They had two daughters, Mary E. Brown born 1856 in Arkansas and Francis Brown born 1860 in Arkansas. After the 1860 census where Nancy was listed with George, Mary Jane Brady (Brown) is listed with George as his wife and the second daughter, Francis and other children. But I can't figure out where Nancy and Mary E went to. I can't find marriage, death, or any other records for them. Has your research produced any information for them?
Thanks for any help,
Patty Golightly from the Stone family

Please contact the cemetery office to get the burial location. Since I am not family, I was told it was not a priority for them to look it up and they'd have to do it in their spare time. I still have not heard back from them, but if you call and let them know you're family, they will give it to you. I can photograph the site once I have the information. The phone number is (818) 763-9121.

L. H. Wheeless,
Hello,

I found your request for a photo of L. H. Wheeless headstone in Antioch Cemetery in Antioch, Arkansas.

From information gathered by a volunteer indexing the cemetery it appears that Mr. Wheeless' headston was broken and illegible. However, I will be going out there within the next few weeks and will try and find this and take a picture of what remains.
