I have been doing Genealogical research for about 10 years. Once or twice a year I pack my tent and travel to, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky to research my family. I would rather stay in a campground than a motel. I am also a RAOGK volunteer for Genesee County, Michigan, I have helped a lot of people find information on their families, this gives me great pleasure.

Thank you so much for all of your help with this. Just this one photo with the inscription detail has cleared up a large mystery for myself and others who have been working on sorting out the Middlesworth families in Genesee and Shiawasee Counties in Michigan.

Thank you so much for satisfying my request for the photo of Levi Middlesworth's headstone at Byron Cemetery. I have now been able to prove a relationship because of the inscription. It has solved a mystery for me!
I do have an additional request if possible. It is hard for me to make out parts of the inscription on the photo... I just need clarification on one thing. It says "Son of A.?. and M.C. Middlesworth"... what is the middle initial of his father? is it "M"?
The answer to this will help me with another mystery...

The info I've located on her indicates her maiden name was Smoot so, I'm thinking her father's name was Edward Mason Smoot and her mother was Pearl B Minnick Smoot. | | | John Burgess
