I'm going to have to work on this. Jessie Marple is still listed in 1900 census with her parents as a servant girl. There is a Nancy Shonkwiler listed as dying in the flood also with the Stout family, could also be her grandma, if I have the grandma's last name misspelled. Will have to look at all the headstones and see if something makes sense. Who is the Marcie/ Margie listed on the Jessie headstone? Was that actually James wife? and Jessie was the servant? and the newspapers got it all wrong? Jessie Marple birthdate is correct as April 12, 1876. THANKS! My info came from Jessie's sisters.
