I have transferred management to you so you can add whatever you find. Is Alice Roberts Gordon any relation? I can transfer her as well if she's part of that family group. Just let me know.

Roberts family in Bristol, VA

I'm happy to process your family connection edits to the various Roberts records in Mountain View cemetery - I just wanted to ask where you found this information as I like to include source data if at all possible. If these are relations of yours, I"m happy to transfer management...just let me know.

Has someone actually seen his death certificate?? You are showing his father as William Ellis Gentry. William Ellis Gentry also had a daughter. Gladys Gentry Ornduff. Her obit shows that brother John proceeded her in death and she died in 2001.. So either her obit is wrong or you are showing the wrong parent for John William Gentry

Gladys Gentry Ornduff
Birth: Oct. 29, 1902
Washington County
Virginia, USA
Death: Dec. 6, 2001
Wake County
North Carolina, USA
She was the daughter of the late William Ellis and Elizabeth Sue Snead Gentry and was also preceded in
death by her husband, Frank Lee Ornduff, April 30, 1981; a son, Harry L. Ornduff, in 1998; a brother, John Gentry

Hi Carol,

Thank you for passing on the edits to Annie's memorial. Would you like for me to transfer this memorial to you?

Talk to you soon,

I am doing Ellen's edits for her while she is ill. You send some edits for Mr. Waddell. The edit you sent for his death location, Orange County, Virginia is incorrect. From the record I found it is listed as Hillsboro, Orange, North Carolina, which is Hillsborough. Please let me know if you have other information.
Thank you!! :)

RE: Sarah Elizabeth Sallie Orfield Jackson
Well Carol dearest, not sure how far down the line you have gone on your tree, if you have one, but I am from the Bittle side of the family, way down. My grandfather was John Andrew Jackson Bittle, his father James B. Bittle, his father George Bittle. Not sure why I felt the need but when I do one person in my family like my great grandfathers, I did all his kids, my great great-all his kids, etc. I have found that by doing this I have much better access to better information and eventually get to the living. The living can actually connect me to these people I have never known. I love this and enjoyed this wonderful journey. Growing up I never knew any of my mother and grandfathers family. They never spoke of any. My father and his mother also never spoke of any of their other family either. My father really didn't know his dad nor his paternal grandmother. So my work was cut out for me trying to hunt for people with no names. So 4 years ago I started this journey. I am so blessed to be able to get to know them, at least through findagrave &

RE: Sarah Elizabeth Sallie Orfield Jackson
Did your father ever tell you stories about him or pass on any stories about the family that should be told? I love to hear them because it makes me feel like there is a connection. I have driven all over the place and gone to cemeteries for photos, I have met many of my relatives too. I have really enjoyed my journeys. Thank You again Carol

Sarah Elizabeth Sallie Orfield Jackson
Hello Carol, I really thank you for sharing all the wonderful photos you have added to the Jackson family because I too am kin and love to be able to have visuals to remember specific ones with. The main reason I wanted to contact you besides thanking you was to ask the question as to this particular lady's death date. The Death certificate states she died on the 19th where her memorial states she died on the 2nd. I am unsure of which date is accurate. I suppose if we had a picture of her headstone we would definitely know for sure. Anyway of knowing for sure? Ex. Bible?

Dixie Savannah (Harmon) Ingoe
Hello Carol, I was thrilled to see the photo posted on Dixie Savannah (Harmon) & James Alex Ingoe's Find-a-Grave memorial. They are my husband's grandparents...I had no idea a photo of them at a young age existed. We have snapshots of them at an older age. Nothing as fine as yours. I would be glad to share the snapshots if you are interested. Can we talk? Margaret Parsons,
