Hi Betty, I deleted the memorials, presuming by their birth dates that they are both still living. When I created them it was near the time that "pre-need" memorials were no longer acceptable to add.
FYI, when you are seeking a transfer you may want to add your relationship (even if only well-known friend, etc.) Some members transfer in guidelines only (4 generation direct) and others will consider out of guidelines if the person was special to you in some way. There is also a very nice virtual cemetery feature/tool you can utilize for memorials not under your management.
Have a great day!
|4losthistory||Rebecca Ann Neathery Bowles|
In response to your posting:
1)I was hoping to get her name written as Rebecca Ann Neathery Cole-Bowles.
Unless the legal name contains a hyphen, punctuation, including the () and /, should not be included in the memorial name. Full capitalization (ALL-CAPS) of names should not be used, whether it be surname or the full name.
"First Name" - First name of the deceased. Please put the entire first name (if known), even if the grave marker is only an initial.
"Middle Name" - Middle name of deceased, if known.
"Nickname" - Nickname of deceased, if known; the nick name is automatically placed in quotes.
"Maiden Name" - Maiden name of a married individual, if known (otherwise leave blank); the maiden name is automatically italicized and should only be used if the individual was married and took the spouse's surname as the new surname. If the deceased was never married, then the surname should be placed in the "Last Name" field, NOT in the "Maiden Name" field.
"Last Name" - Last Name as you would find it on the tombstone, if the interred had more than one marriage or other possible spellings please place this information in the bio and use the family links.
If you can post a legal document showing she had a hyphenated surname in 1952, I will hyphenate this memorial.
2) Why do I see my name per researcher Betty Cole on her page,I didn't give my permission?
Reply: I have removed what I thought were reasonalbe comments made by you from the memorial.
3) Are you a relative??
Reply: I have not determined all of my realtives in this area.
4) Why are you deleting my messages?
Reply: I work a grueling 50-60 hour week and then come home to several hundred corrections every week. I use my resources to try and document all corrections which may take a large amount of time. I do not have time for this type of trivial harrassment from other members, as I spend most of my non-work hours trying to do research for people who appreciate it.
Thanks for all you do !!

I've transferred the maintaince of Constance Wilson's memorial to you.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

Absolutely--I will pass her along to you as soon as I take a picture of her headstone. The stone hasn't been set as of November 6--I checked after voting.
Just curious--where do you live?
I'm new at this game so am unsure how to transfer but will figure it out!

Betty, I posted the pictures of Randy Cole and Lois Cole tonight. I also took a close up of Mark Cole's side of the plaque - let me know if you create a memorial for him and I'll post it on there along with the same overview of both markers that I put on the first two.
|Don Sugarman||About Betty Fuselier|
Cemetery office reports no record of Betty Fuselier.
I found an obit (http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/berkshire/obituary.aspx?n=betty-fuselier&pid=137848452&fhid=4874#fbLoggedOut) that says she was buried in Pittsfield Cemetery. BTW, I worked with Gunner and Chris. Check Pittsfield Cemetery office,move memorial, and re-request photo.

Betty - I've updated the record with your suggestions. As a relative, would you like to manage her page?
|Brent Fallin||Richard Nethery Memorial|
I already had a grave photo for Richard Nethery/Neathery on my computer from a prior visit to Maplewood so I added it and send a message to the person who previously claimed it. Are you related to Richard by any chance? I have researched this individual in the past while working on a canvass of Maplewood for the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Richard served as a Private and later Corporal in Company K of the 14th Virginia Infantry Regiment and is one of the only VA Confederate soldiers buried in Maplewood. The present small footstone was placed by the United Daughters of the Confederacy in the 20s. I seem to remember from my canvass that his son is buried next to him and he has a family installed marker (small obelisk). Richard's marker is currently on our list to replace with a modern VA marker indicating his full name and military service. This is a long term project and we are still a ways off from ordering the new markers. We generally attempt to notify family of the deceased before replacing headstones even though the current headstones in place were not installed by the family. An example of the type of headstone we seek to install in the future can be seen here in the second picture: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=patterson&GSiman=1&GScid=47989&GRid=37756867&

Betty, I added pictures today for Silas Bailey and for Etta Bailey whose stone was right next to his. Was that his wife?
