Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a genealogy nut. The Family Tree Maker was the first program I purchased when I got a computer. I have been working on my family tree for over 20 years now. Part of genealogy is of course, photos of headstones. I must say, my relatives thought it a bit odd that I was always after them for photo's of headstones. I have a large family that is spread throughout the United States, and the only way to get a photo was through someone else's kindness. I came across this web site while searching the web for a Uncle, his name popped up on findagrave. Not even his children knew what had happened to him. Nobody had heard from him in years. I put in a request for a photo of his headstone and within two days some one had fulfilled that request….WOW…. I was able to let my cousins know where their Dad was and show them a picture of his headstone…. Right then and there I decided I needed to share all the information that I had gathered through the years about the resting places of my relatives and ancestors. I was really touched, that a stranger would take the time to do a favor for someone they didn't even know. I was able to fill a request for someone the very next week. I try to keep a watch for requests of cemeteries close to my home.

Leonard Waldron #16333406
Leonard and Betsey had a son named Nelson Waldron, a sea captain who settled in Windsor, Vermont. Nelson died Aug. 23, 1885 in Windsor but there is no record of burial which I'd like to find. He married Elizabeth Gladding who died in 1932. I wondered if you know anything about Nelson's burial place.

RE: Strange message?
I was responding to your profile, where you state you have been doing genealogy for 15 years. It was posted in fun, I am sorry if you were offended. E.

Jerry Alf Jolstead
Jerry was my cousin. Would you consider transferring his record to my management? I am attempting to compile my family history into one location.

Thank you for the work you have done on Jerry's file

Sincerely
