My dad was Noe Domengeaux. Noe Joseph and Erasie were his parents. Have you had any luck. I have about exhausted my search and need the info also for two of my DAR appls. I have just requested help with the Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge. I live in Texas and it gets harder to look for this info. Erasie is only listed on one census the one from 1930. Then in 1940 Noe Joesph is a widow. I can only locate one old death record in Louisana and it is for a Therese P Domengeaux who died in 1932. That is the same year Noe my dad was born. Do you think this could be the right person. I know Aunt Diane was the oldest girl and she was born in 1923.

No relation here, either, lol!! What's easier for you is fine with me. I just hate that I duplicated them. Sigh . . .

Thank you for adding the information and transferring the memorials to me. I really appreciate it.

We would love to be there right now with you to take photos of the cemetery and post on Find A Grave. It is a beautiful old cemetery. We have been looking for Noe Joseph Domengeaux's wife. She was buried in the same cemetery but in section 1. Her name is not on the stone with Noe Joseph, her body was later moved to where he was buried. Gonna have to come to La to go do research about her. Her name was Erasie and we can't locate a death certificate for her either. My mom was born in Lafayette. She is also looking for her cousin Jimmy Domengeaux the musician. Her other cousin Letty is going to start taking photos of all the family in Lousiana, but your help is so great! We take alot of photos here in Paris, TX as you can see by my listing on Find A Grave. Thanks again

Would love them. These are my dad's side of the family. My son and I are planning a trip to see my mom in November and want to come do some research. I am in the process of doing some supplemental appl for the Daughters of the American Revolution for my dad's side of the family. This is so greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the photos of the headstone. I was wondering did you note who the plaque on the top was for. I am also looking for Noe Joesph Domengeaux in the same cemetery. Again thanks didn't know when I'll get back to Lousiana.

Linda, I certainly appreciate the effort you're putting into finding this information. My chief reason for wanting to know if there is a tombstone with Marie's name on it at St. Peter's is because she is a 2nd generation descendant of mine. She is the sister of Antoine Romero for whom I am a direct descendant.

Linda, I really don't know where Marie Bernarda Romero-Migues tombstone is located at St. Peter's Cemetery. All I know is that her name came up on Findagrave.com. If she does have a tombstone at St. Peter's, then I would like to have a picture of it.
I got photos of all but 3 of the Arensbergs... have to search some more for the 3 (plus I added a few).
Still need to try to get a map... just haven't had the chance :(
Hope you have a Happy New Year :)
