Your tombstone stands among the rest; Neglected and alone The name and the date are chiseled out On polished, marbled stone. It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn. You did not know that I exist You died and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you In flesh, in blood, in bone. Our blood contracts and beats a pulse Entirely not our own. Dear Ancestor, the place you filled So many years ago Spreads out among the ones you left Who would have loved you so. I wonder if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, And come to visit you.

 | Cecil Oren Wolf I made a mistake. At the time of Daddy's death, he was working for Goal Tullous who is Aunt Maude's nephew. Aunt Maude is the daughter of John Leander Wolf who was Daddy's grandfather, I believe. I need to lay all this out in a family tree to get it all straight. You have got me more interested getting to know the paternal side of my family. Thank you | | | Faye Wolf Evans
 | Cecil O. Wolf Nettie, I am Cecil's daughter and was just messing around on the internet and saw your posting about Daddy. I would love to be able to talk with you sometime if you are actually the relative of Cecil. If you are not, is there any way you can put me in touch with them. Also, the name of the bar was just "The Flamingo". No pink at all. His main job was in the oil industry. He was the part owner of D&W Drilling. He sold the Flamingo probably sometime in the early 60's and moved to Monahans. When he died he was working for Maude's sister's husband on some gas wells. I didn't know Daddy's side of the family except for Uncle Jack and his wife Wanda and remember Aunt Ruth. We only went to Oregon twice, once when I was around two and then again around twelve. Any information you could give me would be appreciated. | | | James Colbert
