Bio and Links
My name is Marlena Linne and I have been researching my family for over thirty-five years. Most of my research is related to my maternal German ancestors who lived in the Five Points and Cumberland areas of Warren and Franklin Township in Marion County, Indiana. The research includes translating the old German records from Zion Church at Post Road and Troy Avenue where my ancestors attended. These families were connected to a large degree with St John Lutheran and St John Cumberland churches and lived in either the far east side of Warren Township or in Franklin Township.

I'm also active in the Franklin Township, Marion County Historical Society and have documented those families using information from the Historical Society's vast collection of genealogical material. Some of the Franklin Township families were also connected to families in Johnson or Shelby Counties.

I have no interest in creating thousands of what I consider to be “junk” memorials that contain very little information that I found on a list. All of my memorials have been researched through official records and/or by walking the cemeteries. I’ve also linked as many family members as possible and this is an on - going project.

There are some who contend that Find - A - Grave is not a genealogical website, but others would say that if someone comes to Find - A - Grave to find an ancestor or a relative it’s a good bet that they’re working on their family tree. Either way you look at it, I’ve created my memorials with the intention of helping people find their ancestors. So if you think I can be of help with any of the families mentioned above, please contact me and I'll be more than happy to see what I can find.

Transfer of Noble Robling
I'm sorry to say that I don't maintain the old obituaries in my possession but I did make the transfer and hope that you will be able to locate a microfilm copy of that newspaper somewhere.
My husband's family is descended from two Robling individuals but I'm happy to make transfers when the relationship is not super-close to us.
I just wonder if you noticed that there's another Noble Robling and a wonderful photo ... if he belongs to you, just let me know and I'll transfer him. He needs to belong with more family members, imo.
Best wishes. Sue

Regarding Robert Eytchison
Thank you so much for linking Robert with his parents, Lorenzo and Malinda (Waymire) Eytchison.

Robert's wife, Malinda Tharp, is the daughter of Smith and Frances (Waymire) Tharp – Frances being the daughter of Rudolph and Abigail (Fuller) Waymire – Rudolph being the brother of Robert's grandfather, Jacob Waymire.

Again, my thanks to you and all your work.
God Bless

Wambsganns Deleted
I found an old newspaper with Rev. Wambsganns obit. It said he was buried in St John's. Apparently, the obit was wrong. The memorial has been deleted.

Louise Kissel
Memorial number 83258952 is Louise Kissel, whom I believe is my 2nd great grandmother. Would you be able to tell me where you found the information you used to add her memorial? I know her as Louisa Kissel and that she died in Franklin sometime between 1876 and 1881. She had three children there; William, Franklin, and Mary Kissel. She was married to Jacob Kissel, who remarried after her death and had another daughter named Carlie. That's the extent of the info I have on her, and I am hoping that you might have access to more, given your research in that area led you to add a memorial for her. If there is any help you can offer, I would be greatly in your debt.
