|My name is Marlena Linne and I have been researching my family for over twenty-five years. Most of my research has been regarding my maternal German ancestors who lived in the Five Points and Cumberland areas of Warren and Franklin Township in Marion County, Indiana. The research includes translating the old German records from Zion Church at Post Road and Troy Avenue where my ancestors attended. These families were connected to a large degree with St John Lutheran and St John Cumberland churches and lived in either the far east side of Warren Township or in Franklin Township. |
I'm also active in the Franklin Township, Marion County Historical Society and have documented those families using information from the Historical Society's vast collection of genealogical material. Some of the Franklin Township families were also connected to families in Johnson or Shelby Counties.
If you think I can be of help with any of the families mentioned above, please contact me and I'll be more than happy to see what I can find.

"The Wall" I have to figure that maybe you posted a message on my profile page, just like this message. And that I suggested going through the edit tab on the memorial instead of leaving a message.

Yes I am in the process of that now.
|David Forcade||Regarding Robert Eytchison|
Thank you so much for linking Robert with his parents, Lorenzo and Malinda (Waymire) Eytchison.
Robert's wife, Malinda Tharp, is the daughter of Smith and Frances (Waymire) Tharp – Frances being the daughter of Rudolph and Abigail (Fuller) Waymire – Rudolph being the brother of Robert's grandfather, Jacob Waymire.
Again, my thanks to you and all your work.
I found an old newspaper with Rev. Wambsganns obit. It said he was buried in St John's. Apparently, the obit was wrong. The memorial has been deleted.

Thanks for the transfers. It is much appreciated.
|Michael Kountz||Louise Kissel|
Memorial number 83258952 is Louise Kissel, whom I believe is my 2nd great grandmother. Would you be able to tell me where you found the information you used to add her memorial? I know her as Louisa Kissel and that she died in Franklin sometime between 1876 and 1881. She had three children there; William, Franklin, and Mary Kissel. She was married to Jacob Kissel, who remarried after her death and had another daughter named Carlie. That's the extent of the info I have on her, and I am hoping that you might have access to more, given your research in that area led you to add a memorial for her. If there is any help you can offer, I would be greatly in your debt.
Thank you for transferring memorials and helping me out with my Zapf memorial oversight! I appreciate your kindness and your hard work and contribution you give to F.A.G.
Very much appreciated!
