 | 43935326 Hi John, The above corresponds to my Grandfather's resting place (Francis W. Dane)in the family plot down in Hamilton, MA. I'm just curious as to how you discovered him...was it a family ancestry search? When you have a few moments, please respond. Thank you so much for putting him on this site.

 | RE: Haskell's Dear Mr. Gibney,
First of all, thank you soooo much for taking the time to answer me.
I am trying to visualize where you describe. We were all over that cemetery, and all of it was new and confusing for us, as we had never been there before. (Well, truth be told, I did go there once, but that was 50+ years ago!)
I do see (in my mind's eye) Larch Ave., and the military section on the left, the a worker's building on the left, then another section of cemetery on the L&R, but across the road. It had another name though, I believe. The layout, and the sketchy map provided, is very confusing to a stranger.
Sadly, for economic reasons, I fear that trip was my one time shot to find and photograph their resting places. I had not been back to New England in over 30 years. If you ever are back there, I would truly appreciate your help. Thank you again for your great work. Lynn Cartledge | | | Kelli McPheters
 | Harry and Lunetta Burden I just wanted to bring to your attention some things on Harry and Lunetta's headstone. Harry's middle name is Poole. It is listed this way on his marriage record and his World War II draft card. Lunetta was his wife, her maiden name is McPhetres and was born on 2 Dec . Could you please add her maiden name and date and change Harry's middle name and he was born on 25 Feb.1890 and died 29 Oct, Thanks. | | | L.A. Cartledge
 | Lillian Rome Rogers Haskell Dear Mr.Gibney, Thank you so much for your work on Find A Grave. I went o the Pine Grove Cemetery to pay my respects to my Rogers/Grover/ Haskell/Mason relatives. I (and 3 other folks) searched a long time on Larch Ave. for the Haskell family. None of us could find any of them. Would you please be so kind and give me exact directions as to where they are? (How far off the pathway; who is on either side; which Ave. is it between, etc.)? I would be so very grateful if you could actually photograph her stone for her page. That would be wonderful. She was the family genealogist, and it is sadly ironic that I can't seem to find her. Many thanks for your help with this. Lynn Cartledge | | | Eva Webster
 | Jeanette Hardwick Rogers burial place Hello John -- I think we have found the grave of Jeanette Hardwick Rogers (Memorial #68274506 that you created).
We went to visit the grave of her husband Edward Little Rogers (he was an architect who designed many nice houses in our area, including ours) in the Evergreen Cemetery in Brighton.
His gravestone also lists his wife (with her date of death Nov. 13, 1945). She outlived him quite a bit (he died on Nov. 23, 1911). But what is very strange is that her name is listed as Jeanette Tyler Hardwick.
Perhaps she remarried after Edward Little Rogers' death, and her second husband's name was Tyler? Or perhaps Tyler was her mother's maiden name? It's an intriguing mystery. Why would she drop the name Rogers after her husband's death, and yet be buried with him? (unusual back then)
I'd be very interested to know how you got your information about her for Find a Grave. You had her date of death the same as on the gravestone we found, so it has to be the same person.
I am a new member of Find a Grave, and don't know how to update information about her to include her burial place. (I have a photo of the gravestone - but will have to ask my husband to upload it to the memorial page you created for her.)
Do you know if she and Edward Little Rogers had children? Do you know their names?
Thank you in advance for your response.

 | Ezra Currier Your memorial for Ezra Currier #99946239 has him buried at Highland Cem. in Mass. but the bio. shows his burial at Knoxville National in Knoxville,TN. Someone else has posted a photo request for Ezra Cuurier at Knoxville Natl. I don't believe he is buried there as there is no listing in VA records and the plot location (Lot 6, Grave 32) does not match up with plot numbering system at Knoxville Natl. Do you know for certain he is buried at Highland and is that plot number a valid location in Highland Cem. ? | | | N. Barrett
 | Union Valley Cemetery Hello
I am writing to share with you that Union Valley Cemetery is located in Mahopac, NY, not Carmel, it is a very fine line so it is difficult to tell. | | | | [View all messages...] |
