I was born and raised in West Virginia but have made ILlinois my home since 1967.
I am currently researching my family tree on my mom's side need information on Lilly, Crawford, Burkes, Burks, Burk, Hornsby, or Horn from Virginia and West Virginia.
On my father side need information on McBride, Fink, Ferguson, Wood.
If i have added any ones relative and they would like to create their own memorial e-mail me and i will delete the record.
I think this is a great site to post burials and cremation, everyone should be remembered even if it is on FIND A GRAVE.
If you have time please stop by and visit my beautiful son Memorial he is the reason i started on this site, some days i cannot visit his grave . So i just log on here and read all the beautiful notes and tokens that have been left for him. I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart it means so much to me to know their are such kind people out there

And a special Thank-You to Medora for sponsoring his site she truly is a angel.
John Harvey Lilly edit Hello, I sent you an edit for John Harvey Lilly. In addition to attaching his parents an edit for his date of birth was sent revising it from 1885 to 1875. These dates are overtyped on his Certificate of Death but the 1875 date is confirmed by the 1880 Census in which he appears with his parents in Summers Co., WV. His father is listed as Henry Lilly, age 26.
I am attempting to improve the connections for the Lilly family in general so you may see a lot of edits from me. Thank you for the HUGE volume of posts and pages created. Bob Zingo
I am sending you some edits for James D. Lilly 1889-1968, Find A Grave 16006172. There is a note on his page listing the wrong parents and I don't know where the information came from. If you like I can provide a copy of his Certificate of Death. It lists his parents as Simeon Lilly and Nancy Thompson. That is also where he shows up in the 1900 census of Shady Spring, Raleigh Co., WV.
BTW, if you would like WV Lilly data send me an outline of your ancestry back to a WV Lilly and I will check my database. I have lots of information to share.
RE: Curious question I also see you left virtual flowers for his sister, Juanita McMillion, who is buried in another Lorain County cemetery. Their parents are buried in Fayette County, WVA. I don't see them in my family line, but it would be surprising to know if they were and I never knew them, living right here in the same place. Bev
RE: Curious question It is Butternut Cemetery, Lorain County, (Eaton) Ohio. I believe we must be related somewhere along the line as I see you on several of my relatives memorials. Walkers from Egeria and Hatchers from Ellison Ridge. Walkers as you know were the founding fathers of Mercer County and southern West Virginia. I have all the names you mentioned in my family too! So when I saw your flowers up here, I got curious! Bev
Curious question Hello, I usually see your work on memorials in West Virginia cemeteries, many of my relatives. However, I was somewhat surprised when I saw you had left virtual flowers on a memorial at a local cemetery here in northern Ohio. I had created the memorial while visiting the cemetery and building it up on Find A Grave, but transferred it to someone who knew him/her. When I was working the cemetery today I came across that memorial again and saw your virtual flowers. Do you know people here in Elyria, Ohio? The memorial was for A.C. Comer, are you related or an acquaintance? Just curious I guess! Bev
