I have always had an interest in genealogy since I was a young girl. Now that I'm older I feel more confident doing research. Most of my ancestors on my fathers side has been researched so I am concentrating on my mothers side since few people are doing genealogy in Japan. My ancestors from Japan are mostly from Kagoshima, Japan (South Kyushu area) and I have a little information. The surnames I am researching there are Nomura, Kuwahata, Shinohara, Tashiro, Setoyama, Arata, Uehara and Matsushita. I hope in doing my genealogy somebody out there will be doing the same family and we will be able to share and connect information. I live in Fairfield, CA so I'm able to take pictures of headstones nearby if needed. I will start transcribing information soon to help others find their ancestors as well.|

|Kristy||found her name on husbands memorial plate|
I just looked up my uncle Mack Wofford at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa and her name is on his plate and it looks like they are in a crypt. They put her name along with his on the plate before she died. She passed away just recently in March and I only recently found out because I looked up Mac on this site and none of the distant cousins notified us of her death.
Her husband and father are originally from Georgia and Sheila is a blood relative of ours. Thanks for looking for us though. I will ask for his plate to be copied onto her memorial on Find a grave website.

My goodness, Thank You so very much for all of your effort to try to find his burial & stone. And Thank You for being so thorough and explaining in detail the problems you encountered. Watta mess. He may be lost to us.
I'll try to sort it all out with the information and phone numbers you provided. Our last hope.
My Sincerely Thanks
PS he is my grandfather's great uncle

Thank you for letting me know there is an issue with my Uncle's gravesite location. My Aunt told me he was buried at the SS-FF cemetery, so I will have to check with her or my cousins again.
Thank you for all the help you give. I wish you the greatest rewards in your search for your family's history.
Kind Regards, Sally

Hey, I was just looking on some of the family members who had been linked to William Gentry. I noticed a lady from findagrave "46569734" named Joyce Davis who had added some of the names. Looks like you have recently talked to her, too, about family information. Maybe ask her about the May Farmer posting. She says that Gentry is part of her family, too. I bet that is where I got the information if I were to bet. Frances

Well, I think I must have gotten the information from someone through findagrave. I just take their word for it being true and I didn't add the person's name who contributed it. Now, I know why I should. I don't know this family, I just take photographs of entire cemeteries and post them. I have looked just now on Ancestry and sure enough it says Mary Estelle Wilson. I will delete the May Farmer part and maybe that same person will send me another comment. Sorry, I can't help more. Frances

As far as I know, I am not related to the Jackson's of Van Zandts at Burwood Cemetery.

Thank you very much for the photo of my Uncle Gordon's headstone. I am so appreciative of volunteers like you who are willing to do things for people who can't do those things for themselves. I cannot imagine when I will ever be in Vacaville again, and without you, his memorial would be forever incomplete.
