I have been researching my family for about 35years. I am 90 years old. My husband died in October,2012. We were both born in Tennessee and lived there all of our lives until 2005. We moved to Miami, Florida to be near our daughter and family. We had two children but our son died in 2007.|
I have written 5 family books: Frazier, Freshour, Whittle, Byington, and Julian. I continue to work on others including: Ricker, Ware, Dodson, Smith and many others.

I have been doing my family back ground and have come across this grave site, I am thinking this I the brother of my grandfather John L. Freshour Killed when he was 40 yrs old (my mother was 10 at the time Debra Kaye Fresour mother was Gena Hixon Freshour) as a police officer in Greeneville, TN. If you know if I am correct in this can you please let me know.

My husband is going to 83 and I will be 75 real soon. He lives on the Ray family farm which as been around since 1883, he is the 4th generation. They must like it here. If you own the memorial, you just click on "Family Links" for each child and remove the numbers under parents. If you don't own the memorial, click on the Edit tab at the upper right, then click on "Suggest a Correction..." item. Then you can ask the person who owns the memorial to fix it.

OK, I found the marriage for Benjamin F Davis and Martha Ann Holt. They were married 23 Jan 1886 in Greene County, TN. I can't find the marriage for Joseph and Eve Holt. The only thing I find is a marriage for a Joseph Davis and an Etta Nelson 22 Dec 1892 in Greene, TN. This doesn't seem like the right entry, but I can't find anything else.
By the way, I think you're doing fine for your age. (I should be lucky enough to live that long!) This stuff gets confusing, especially with all the intertwining that goes on here in Greene County.
Hope this helps.
