I have been researching my family since abt 1982 and when I visit a cemetery, I photograph the entire cemetery which saves lots of time and travel. |
I'd like to thank all of you that have stopped by my contributions/memorials and those of you that have left flowers and/or notes, it is greatly appreciated.
It was my love of researching my family that led me to the restoration of old family photos which in turn led me to becomeing a digital scrapbook kit designer. Of course, most of my kits tend to run to the heritage theme. I just love making new "Family Tree" items for researchers to fill in and take pride in. They make a much better presentation than those typically found with genealogy software.
You may use the photos I have uploaded for any family/genealogy purpose with no credit required but please, do not claim as your own.
- Happy Hunting!

I have relatives also in Jackson County, and one near Graceville, she at one time owned property in Graceville, & buried at New Home Baptist s. of there, Nancy Jane Atwell & her sister Bessie Reba who married a Shiver. They were my GGGrandfather's sisters. My GGGrandfather & others are buried at Mt. Olive e. of Malone. Someone suggested I photo Marvin Chapel and I didn't realize was a big project that was. Fireants are terrible there. I took a whisk broom to try and sweep of some of the stones. One is so completely covered with them you can't read it. I have other relatives at New Providence in s. Houston Co. I'm not aware of the Hamilton Cemetery. I saw there was a Lucille Ball buried at M.C. Let me know when you come up and maybe you can explain some of the relationships there. Meanwhile when you get a chance look over the listings & photos I've made and let me know the errors I've made because I caught a few of them. Also one day I was there, State convicts were moving and cleaning the cemetery, I watched my back. Let me know if I can do anything to help. If you look at your Father's stone you can see at the top where I had to sweep the fireants back.

You are welcome,Lisa. I've photographed the entire cemetery and it may take awhile to get them all posted.

I have a photo of your Father's headstone but there is no room on the memorial to post it. Let me know how you want to do it or if you want to post it yourself.
