|Tim Burgess||RE: Sam Stewart|
Wrong again, I did not copyright the photo, it was not mine to copyright, it belonged to a descendant who gave me permission to use it. Again, you make claims that do not stand up to scrutiny. You use insults when you run out of reason. I pity you.
If I make any money on my proposed publication it will be for my 30 years of research and not one photo.
I Love my Southern and Confederate Heritage just as much as you, or maybe more. I have aided more Confederate Research, set more Confederate Grave Markers, and attended and spoke at more Confederate Memorials than you can ever dream of. Again, you show your ignorance.
I am glad that you finally did receive permission from one of the Descendants of Samuel Stewart. As I said before, it was only about approval!
Now, don't bother me with anymore of your petty insults because they will not be opened. Tim Burgess

The American Legion probably obtained it the same way you and others have. Like a bad apple, it only takes one and once it is on the internet, it last forever.
I too Honor his memory and his sacfifice and devotion as I have been researching the lives and deaths of all of the Confederate Soldiers killed or mortaly wounded at Franklin for over 30 years. This involved contacting and corresponding with over 500 proud descendants who have shared copies of letters, diaries, Photographs, etc. with me for my research and hopefully, publication.
Now, I have had to contact them and advise them that the copy of the image they shared with me for my research and which was on loan to the Carter House Museum has been copied and used without their approval. That is the key word, Approval!

Photo taken and shown illeagly. Full copy rights rest with Descendant and myself, Tim Burgess. This photo is on loan to the Carter House Museum in Franklin, Tennessee. AS can be seen, a photo of the photograph was taken as it was displayed.
This is a Federal Offence. Futher investigation is onging and charges will be made. Tim Burgess
|TKelsey||Capt Brown photo|
Hello, I was wondering if you'd be able to tell me where you obtained the photograph (or copy of) for Captain William F Brown?
Thanks in advance!

Thank you for fulfilling my photo request. Your time and effort is truly appreciated. Have a wonderful Memorial weekend and God Bless You for the work you do on F/G.

We have added a grave marker picture to this memorial. #42788208 G.& N.
|Jeannie Gebhart LaCues||Johanna Sonke|
The general problem they reported is:
Cemetery office has no record of this person
They also reported, specifically:
This cemetery has been walked and written up and no such person was found. The
records going back this far were destroyed by fire years ago so this person
could be buried here with no grave marker or unreadable grave marker. Jane Hall
Due to this problem, we believe that this photo request can not be fulfilled. As
a result, we are removing it. If you can fix the problems that were reported and
believe a photo can be acquired, please feel free to make a new request.
Thanks for your efforts. Jeannie

Tim - Thank you so much for your continued effort to locate Johanna's marker. Jeannie
We enjoyed getting this one for you. Always interested in the surname Bowles/Boles/Bolls. We read up on Pinkney. Interesting character.
