RE: YES!!!
My grandmother was Nellie Haynes (Bailey) Weeks oldest of Burt and Corrine Bailey's three daughters. I have Solomon's widow's Civil War pension application from the National Archives. From them I discovered that Solomon moved his wife and two youngest children (my Burt and a daughter) to Grafton , Taylor County, West Virginia just before he died. I have no idea why since supposedly he arrived back in New Gloucester, Maine after the war in an unhealthy condition. Genealogy is fun and for every problem I solve another one shows up.

RE: Hi Jim and Becky!
Yes, he was one of Solomon's sons along with my grandfather, Burt Lincoln Bailey, and Albert. Are you also a descendant?

RE: George Washington Mosher
I checked out your genealogy site, very interesting....especially the occupations. Do you think that your Elsie Chute and her family were around the Rome, Maine area at some time?
