I have not found a death record for her here in Cottonwood County either but I was able to post her husband's obituary. I gives her maiden name and the date of their marriage. Hope this helps.

Hi Diane, thanks for putting in all the time and effort into this. It means the world to me to see me great- grandfather's headstone. I've looked everywhere about how to link names and can't see how to do it. I would love Paul #76327332 to be linked to his mother Rosalie #110381116. Can you point me in the right direction? Thank you!

|Cheryl Henry||RE: Willa Harris|
I cannot remember if I told you that we could not find any listing for Willa. There were other names that were listed under her parents names. We thought perhaps they were children who had died in infancy, but none of them had a stone either, but at least, they were listed. I don't know what to tell you. There are 50 cemeteries in Lyon county, but none of them have names even close to Maplewood or Memorial (the two that are together in Emporia). Sorry.
|Cheryl Henry||Willa Allen Harris|
I called the cemetery office yesterday, but they had closed early so will try again today. She had a JC Harris listed, that she told me about when I first talked with her, but did not find Willa Harris. She asked if I had the maiden name, which I didn't at first so am hoping that maybe she can find her through that. Keep your fingers crossed today when I call.
|Cheryl Henry||RE: Willa Harris|
I will check with the office to see where her parents are buried. There maybe room for Willa to
have been buried there, but no stone and maybe no
paperwork done. It is a long shot, but may be able to find her under her maiden name.
