| Bio and Links | I was born in Gibsonburg, Sandusky County, Ohio in 1939 and am now living in Clyde, Ohio. The family names were Smith, DeShetler, Tebbe, Kranz and Huntsman.
If I have added any persons not my relation and they are your family I am willing to transfer or add your information - with documentation.
Isn't genealogy fun? The answer to one problem leads to at least two more questions!

 | Doctor P. Hurlbut Hi Larry,
My hard drive broke and just getting back to normal. Wanted to thank you for the above grave lookup.
I thought my greatgrand father Philetus Hurlbut/Hulber was the one envolved with "Joseph Smith", but this obit has proved he wasn't the one.
Their first names are similar, both lived in Vermont, both fathers were ministers, both lived in same two places in New York, one married a Barnes in Vermont, the other lived with a Barnes from Vermont. Two years difference in age.
Wish I could find D.P. Hurlbut's parents.
Thanks again, Jeane Delano | | | Jeane Delano
 | Doctor P. Hurlbut Thank for the pictures of D.P. Hurlbut. I thought for a long time that he was my great grandfather. The names are so close, his Philastus, mine Philetus, D.P. b 1809, mine b.1811, both lived in Vermont, both lived in same areas of N.Y., mine 's mother was Elizabeth Barnes, and D.P. lived with a Julia Barnes in same area at the same time.
Interesting person. Check out the Making of America book online, and Google for interesting beginnings of Joseph Smith and the Book of Morman, and the part he played in it.
Had a broken hard drive and lost time and info, but did want to say thanks. J. Delano | | | Doris Hartman
