Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have worked on family tree for 42 years. I was the founder and first president of the Broken Arrow Genealogy Society, Broken Arrow, OK in 1976. I was born and raised in Vinita, Craig Co, Ok, and my family is still from there. My mother, Eunice (Swift) Hightower, age 96, of Vinita, Ok has spent many years collecting clippings out of the local newspapers into scrapbooks. I have eleven of the 3-ring notebooks (each about 200 pages) indexed and online on the usgenweb archive page for Craig Co, OK. I receive requests all the time for copies of the obits, which I scan in and send by email. This is a FREE service from our family to help the cause of genealogy. I personally have a computer genealogy database of over 117,000 persons that I share whenever I can in files by email for free. I love the history, detective work and the thrill of piecing together the bits of information from census records, history books, etc.

Almetria Williams Hightower-Ivory Marshall Cemetery/Okay, OK
Hi Eddene,
While posting pics this morning, I noticed a message you left for this memorial:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=39075580

I have sent corrections to Alice, so hopefully the updated info will be added soon.

Thanks for all you do to help others in their search for family and loved ones!

BOSWELL, Arthur/Fern
On Fern Boswell in Boudinot Cemetery near Tahlequah, saw you had left a message with some information about this veteran. So, is his military marker wrong? I think you can get a new one with the correct name.

I would send a SAC for a name change if needed, but I am not getting any response out of the manager of that memorial.

Thought you might know. Thank you so much.

Mamie Lalicker
Ruby Lalicker was my grandfather's first cousin. I never met her. Was her nickname "Mamie"? I could add that to the memorial.

RE: Sarah (Rhoten) Taylor's birthdate
Okay. I found the e-mail. I was watching for it in my regular e-mail system - duh!!! I didn't set up the memorial page so I can't change the information. Apparently a lot of people out there aren't getting the right information when they order a headstone. One photo I took a couple of weeks ago for a guy he wrote me back and said that the date on the stone was off by many years. He said the relative was a joker and always claimed to be various ages.

RE: Ira Thompson, brother of Willis?
His obit says he was the son of William Newton & Alice (LaRoe) Thompson. For survivors the obit shows one brother Roy P. Thompson of Coffeyville; and two sisters - Mrs. Delbert (Nell) Daily of Kansas City, Missouri; and Mrs. Roy (Inez) Garrison of Bartlesville. I am not related and I have no further information.

RE: Error in Death Date for Henry Crouch
Thank you for the "Heads Up" on Henry Crouch. I apparently entered his birth year twice, making him way to young to marry. I have corrected his death date to 1957. Marian Lowe

Unfortunately, I do not know any info on these people. If you check Mo State Archives births/deaths, you should be able to find out more info. My side goes back to Tn and Va. Good luck
