Sorry that I did not claim this before. Today I took about 10 photos of the memorial tombstone. It is covered with moss. It is easy to find. Enter the Southgate. It is almost in the first row to your right about 30 yards. When you see the fenced in tombstone to it's right there is a marker labeled B and the Cornwell tombstone is about 18 feet from the B marker. I sent the photos I took this afternoon to the lady that requested them. If you go. Take a brush to scrape it off.

That is what the note said that Debs posted on the photo request. She was given a location where he was buried but no headstone found.

Hi, I wondered if you would please delete this request as there is no headstone to photo per info received from Mt Moriah cemetery office. THANK YOU, Martie

Hi, I tried to fulfill your photo request for these memorials after being given the location of Block 10, Lot 297, Space 7 & 8, but there are no headstones there. I checked with the office at Mount Moriah to confirm I searched the proper location (curb side marker 38) and it was correct. So, apparently they never had headstones placed.

Thank you for the quick posting of David Fisher's stone photo. Didn't know if you wanted to make a memorial for his wife and post your photo. His wife's maiden name is Harned. She is the daughter of Philip Lee Harned 12104584 and Alice Uptegrove 12104582 Just let me know if you'd prefer me to make the memorial and you post the photo. Thanks again!!
|Liz ||RE: Childs photographs|
I added photos and/or memorials for Margaret Rielly, and Mary Childs Cleveland and Alice Paige Cleveland who are also with the Childs in Section 19, and for Euphemia C. Standart and Martha C Johnston who are in 10 with Edwin's family if you want them.

"Michael" said that we might be related as John Atkinson is my great grandfather. His daughter, my grandmother, Martha Elizabeth Atkinson Clark Wollenweber, was born of his wife Bessie who died in childbirth when my grandmother was born. My grandmother was raised by her mother's brother John Clark and his wife Sarah. He evidently kept 3 of their children, married again to Adie Curtis and had 2 more children. My grandmother spent all her life in the Denver area. My mother was one of her 6 children, 2 of which are still living. I would be interested in what our connection might be.
