I was born in TEXAS. My ancestrial group in Leon County: WATSON, SANDERS, HARRISON, BYRNS, KING, BLACK, SHREWSBURY.
I lived in Fairbanks for 22 years (Alaska School of Mines) but retired and now live in Carbondale, IL - I do not have a Jackson Co. IL cemetery book nor am I familiar with the area, BUT, I do live here and volunteer to take photos of headstones, cemetery gates, etc. in the immediate area - if I can find them.

Hi Lucy. Thank you for drawing that to my attention. I thought that I had seen Nancy on an 1840 census, but obviously not. I have changed her death date to unknown.
