Robert Brown #54793195
If I go to the trouble of "keying" and sending to you a "biographical sketch" from, "Portrait and Biographical Record of Randolph, Jackson, Perry and Monroe Counties, Illinois" by the Biographical Publishing Company, published 1894, concerning Robert Brown, will you consider using the content to expand his FAGrave memorial? I realize the document is not a primary source and therefore, you may be hesitant to rely on it. Laura Duncan

James George & Family
While at this time it looks like they are not realitve but they be cousins. This George's are from Jefferson County, Washington County, Marion County and Vandeila and Centralia. The Genealogy may one day tale. It weird that the two people died around the same time. It looks like is name is Joseph George and not James but on the 1850 is name spelled Jos. and on 1860 spelled Jas. You knew back in those days familys where tight then today and the George's from this line are tight family.

RE: John Paul Hughes

That is great news about finding your great grandfather! I'm just so glad that I could be a small part of your discovery. Congratulations, and keep on searching. Who knows who might be the next long, lost relative you might find.

If I can be of assistance again, don't hesitate to ask.

These are the other markers that are in what I believe to be the Hughes Family plot.

RE: John Paul Hughes
Hi Kathy,

There are several other Hughes markers in the same area (appears to be a family plot with the single upright stone and individual single markers). They names are all either Hughes or Spencer, except the for the grave of Violet M. Roberts. If you are working on family genealogy, I thought you might want to know.
