Huston Alford in St. Clair cemetery
I have a question do you know if Huston Alford was a WW II vet? St. Clair cemetery is thinking of doing a memorial day program. It is in the thinking stage. I am trying to put together a spreadsheet for the vets?

RE: Elma hagy
I'm sure the Roberts are related to one another. My Great Grandmother Mary Lieuindia Book was a sister of Robert's wife Martha Anna "Annie" Book.

RE: Walter Carroll McCrary
Hi there: Yes, I always love to hear and share family history! I've seen your name here and there and wondered how you were kin to the Shores. Vista and Tom's daughter Jean lived with Papaw and Mama Cile, (Walter & Lucille McCrary, their children, my mother and uncle, Virginia and Carroll), after Vista and Tom died. Have you kept in contact with her? I'm sorry to say, I don't know if she's still alive.
Do you have any old pictures of Vista and Tom or any of the others? I have "several old pictures" I cannot identify, several of children. I know Steve and Lizzie were the kind to take care of anyone's kids! These are well dressed children.
I had a picture of an older lady named Mrs. RJ Johnson? Didn't know who she was. Found out she was Lizzie Luttrell's sister Helen. This year I was in touch with her grt-grt grn daughter, so I sent her the picture.
So let's get started soon. Of course the next two weeks will be a little busy, I'm sure you too. But looking forward to exchanging.
Best Regard, Carolyn Carpenter Dodds, Walter McCrary's oldest granddaughter.

I sure will. I also thought that was the Tom listed on the photo requests so I claimed him. Lol. But luckily I check the dates. I did find the right Tom yesterday tho.

RE: Shores - Tallahatchie Co, MS
Hi Pat. I'm sorry I can't help you. I got the names from the Tallahatchie County Cemetery Record Book. I don't have many family in Tallahatchie County anymore, but will try to find some information for you.
My relatives from Tallaahatchie County are Newton and Little.
Good hunting...Bea.
