|I am a native of Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, with lots of interest in genealogy. I spend countless hours in the local library, courthouse, visiting area cemeteries, and on the computer, looking up my ancestors. It's fascinating!|

Thank you for your inquiry. I generally come across memorials managed by others because they are somehow connected to those I manage or have photographed.
Generally speaking, I extract information via census records, SSDI, marriage indexes, referring to obits, and the like. If I discover info and family links surrounding memorials managed by others, I share. Two of my purposes for doing this are site / memorial improvement and historical preservation.
Hope this answers your inquiry. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to further assist, and thank you for your assistance also.
Have a good week ahead,

Ira Pettaway Ellis' mother is Emily Christina Scott the first wife of Jonathon Johnette or Johnetta Ellis who were my 2nd great grandparents.
Are you related to the Ellis'?

Thank you so much for the transfer. I have updated her memorial. I also linked her to her husband Laurence and added a photo to his memorial. My line is through her daughter, Irene.
I am a descendent of the Granger family. My mother was Mary Edna (Macel) Granger/Davis born in Orangefield Texas 22 Feb 1921 to Martin and Sarah Edna Simmons/Granger.
Martin Granger is a descended of Tresimond and Elva Granger the daughter of Jonas Chesson and sister of Alfred Chesson.
I have traced the family to England with John Granger, but still debating on John.
Just trying to get to know Granger family
|Trapper John||Naomi Coleman Coombs, Flower Mound Cem., Lawton, OK|
This is an excerpt from Naomi's obituary in The Lawton Constitution, Sun., Apr. 29, 2001. I copied and pasted it directly from The Lawton Constitution (subscription) website: Funeral for Naomi Coombs, 78, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Hayes, retired minister, officiating and Dr. Randy Robertson, pastor, Calvary Baptist Church, assisting....Burial will be at Flower Mound Cemetery. She was born Sept. 21, 1922 in Boswell to Robert Custer and Nettie Lee Clover Coleman. She lived there until 1928. She then moved to the Frederick/Davidson area, where she lived until 1941. She married Thomas "Dink" Coombs on April 5, 1941, in Frederick...
What are the names of Mr. and Mrs. Easton who were Naomi's parents? Did the Eastons live in Choctaw Co., OK; Tillman Co., OK; and then in Comanche Co., OK? Thank you for your help.

I use Death Certificates and the American Press Archives for most of my findings.
I get Death Certificates and Records off FamilySearch.org, as well as Marriage Records.
I also have Corbello, Romero, LeBleu & Granger in my family tree.
I am a born and bred Calcasieu Parish Native, my line dates back to Charles Sallier and other founding pioneers of the area.
Graduate of Marion High in 1969. When I seen your name it brought back a memory of a young lady I went to school with that was also a Debbie Vezina, that was a few years ago.
