Im a small business owner who is very interested in history. My mother, sister and I are all doing geneaology to some extent. I found this site through a search and had to join up. It was fun to go and find graves that people requested pictures of and I'm going to work on a virtual cemetary or two. Of course, I will be posting pictures of family graves as well as a few well known local grave sites. | |

Brian. This cemetery is actually in the confines of what is called Kankakee River State Park. Many of the early settlers in this cemetery passed in to their new life as a result of a dyphoid epidemic that passed through the area.
