These are my 4th great-grandparents. I have spent many hours & miles documenting/sharing their history. I am not ready to divest myself of their maintenance. Thank you for caring.
|Donna Londeen||Moses Bass|
I am also related to Moses Bass. My daughter is a Brizendine descendant.
I would be to care of any edits you send.
|Ms. Mandy||RE: George W. Knox|
I was able to pull his middle name from the listing of California, Voter Registers 1866-1898.
It listed him as:
George Washington Knox
Residence Year: 1867
Residence Place: Butte, California
Birth Year: abt 1834
George was living in Butte, CA at that time and I'm not finding any other George W Knox in that area matching the birth year (or range of birth year).
You're welcome to go by this record or continue to keep it as "W". Just thought I'd pass it along since this is what I'm going by for my tree.
Thanks so much for your help! :)

What a very good, and reasonable question. I always appreciate someone who takes the time to question corrections, and Williams is such a common name. I'll email you what I have and see what you think. If you disagree with what I have please let me know, and I'll dig deeper. What I'll send you is what is on ancestry, and then I know I double checked it at the DAR website, but upon threat of excommunication I'm not allowed to publish their records. I'm pretty confident of the sources though

Per your request, I transferred the Waldos to you. They are my 8th g-grandparents, and I descend from their daughter Abigail (Waldo) Brown. It looks like some clown just added dups with ALL CAPS for most of John's siblings. What a mess! I hope that you can straighten it all out. Thanks.

Thank you very much for the photo of John J. Waldo's headstone! I appreciate your time and effort.

Are you aware that there is another memorial for Edward Waldo? For awhile your memorial for Edward was gone. It said it had been merged. However there was no gravestone photos on the new memorial. I just checked again and was so glad your memorial was back on Find A Grave. She has some additional information on the new memorial, but I was so sad when the gravestone photos were gone. Just thought you would like to know.

Edward and Eleanor did positively move to Hebron and had 6 more children totalling 4 daughters and 8 sons. And they later moved to Thetford. Edward and sons Edward, Jr., Elijah, Jonathan, and Abner are all heads of household on the first census of Thetford in 1771. Son Zebedee comes to Thetford a bit later. Abner becomes Thetford's first town clerk . Thank you for putting this family on Findagrave. RDL

There is a burial reccord for him at www.jewishgen.org It states that he was taken to Cypress Lawn cemetery & cremated, ashes scattered. But it also lists a burial at Home of Peace Cemetery. Plot F section 4 N/2. Hope this is helpful. Diane
