I have deleted his memorial, I guess I missed it because of the different names. Let me know if you find other duplicates. - Bobbie

RE: William Shell
The photo that I have of William and Amelia Ellis Shell's home was obtained from a cousin, Wanda Jackson Stewart. She obtained the photo on a trip to Newberry County, South Carolina, many years ago. She gave me a copy of the house at a family reunion in 2011. I know the house was located in Newberry County, SC. If you would like to contact Wanda, her email address is . She lives in Florida and stays very business with genealogy and research.
I hope this has been of some help. William and Amelia Shell are my fifth great-grandparents. And, William's sister Lucy Shell married my fourth great-grandfather, James Wright. The reason William Shell is a great-grandfather is because his great-granddaughter, Mary Nance Shell married James and Lucy Wright's grandson, Milton F. Wright, who is my 2nd great-grandfather. In other words, they were cousins.
So I am related to the Shells in a double fashion.
If you are a member of, and would like to visit my family tree I will be glad to send you an invitation to see it.
Take care,
Richard D. Wright

I see that you've taken some photos in this cemetery. Can you tell me where it is? The map linked to it seems to be wrong.

Solomon Royston
Hello Jennifer!! I wanted to touch base with you about your ancestor - Solomon. As I mentioned on the photo request we did not find his headstone in the Rocky Mount Cemetery in Bossier.
I did some "investigating" when I got home and it appears that he may actually be buried in Rocky Mount Cemetery in Sabine Parish. I found some information on his father, spouses and a child on as well :)
1) Solomon --
2) father --
3) first wife -
4) daughter --

Hope this will help you!! Next time we go see my in-laws I will try to get by this cemetery (in Sabine Parish) and get a picture for you!! Good luck on your family history search!!

Hello Jennifer...
I have not been to the cemetery. The entries I made here I found in a book with records for the church. Most I do go to the cemeteries, but for some I find information at the historical society in old obits & online.... Bobbie
