|Prairie wind & her old salt/usnr||Gotchall Amanda/William|
I was cleaning up my cemetery photos today and I came across a headstone that I had taken in Cedar Grove Indianola,Ne. The headstone is very old but you can see the name Gotchall, The first name is hard to read but I can see "Wm". I would like to forward it to you, maybe it is maybe it isn't don't know for sure. If you will email me at firstname.lastname@example.org I will inturn email you the pic. I haven't forgotten you and I will keep looking.
|Prairie wind & her old salt/usnr||RE: Amanda I (Andrews) Gotchall|
After reading the article you sent I was wondering if Amanda could be buried in another cemetery. The reason I ask is there are actually 4 cemeteries in Indianola. There is the Indianola, the Cedar Creek,the Indian Hills and St Catherine's. The first 3 are all together, it is difficult to tell where one starts and the other one stops. St Catherine is across the street from the first 3.
If you would like I will be more than happy to check out the other 3 cemeteries for you. Should I find something I will let you know. I am not sure when I will get back there, but I will do it in the next few months.
Will that work for you?

Hey Ken, Would you email me to speak off line at: email@example.com Thx, Rebecca Stiles Anderson
|Bill Herndon||RE: Frank and Jackie|
Ken... As the great-grandson of Lois Miranda (Stiles) Masten...I *am* a Stiles.
At this point, however, I think this discussion would be more appropriately conducted off of Find-a-Grave. Suffice to say, the decision to put the genealogical heirlooms in my hands was one that Jackie made after Frank died, and unfortunately I don't have all of the items you mention. I do have one that you may not be aware of that, at least for our family, is the most precious of all.
Please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org ...and I can fill you in.
|Bill Herndon||RE: FAG Rules|
Ken... In reference to the situation with my great-aunt Jackie: I *am* the Herndon who has possession of the family heirlooms (at least the genealogical ones). It was Jackie's wish that I take possession of them due to my having spent 20 years working on the family tree.
In conclusion, I would never alter or remove a photo that I had not, myself, posted. We're only talking here about the products of my own efforts, and I believe that actions and licenses that prevent an Ancestry from removing historical research from the public domain (including photos) is preferable. Others may, of course, disagree.
|Bill Herndon||RE: pictures|
Thanks for the comment, but I'm afraid I don't understand your objection. Are you opposed to removing photos from Find-a-Grave memorials, or opposed to the change in terms imposed by Ancestry?

Again, I do not wish to transfer. Just use the edit tab if you have additional or use "family links" on the children you manage to add them.
I wonder if he is still on here. I know his health was bad and I have not talked to him for awhile.
Ken, I am happy to make transfers but don't expect them overnight . I work full time. I get at them as soon as possible. If you put your number and your relationship they will be transferred sooner as its faster for me.
