NOTE!! In July of 2011, about 5000 memorials created and/or managed by the late Dr. Adalbert Goertz were merged with the 1,000 or so I created and/or managed prior to that. I very much regret that when FAG merged the two accounts, they removed the credit which should be properly given to Adalbert for all the work he did.
I'll readily acknowledge that most of the work now credited to me was his doing. Visit his FAG memorial for more about Adalbert Goertz 69628876.

I've spent quite a bit of time researching my family trees in the past few years and have identified more than 600 direct ancestors so far. I'm happy to share information with others.
I've also researched every Crago and Craigo in America prior to 1900, and have lately begun to concentrate on the Crago's of Cornwall, England, Australia and New Zealand. I have extensive files as a result of this search (i.e., over 4600 Crago's and Craigo's). The are only about 3750 Crago's alive in the World today.
I serve as project administrator for DNA research on the various Crago/ Craigo/ Crego families tested at FTDNA. Most of the family lines in America are now pretty well understood. Contact me for details, or check out the website below.
Finally, I've recently signed up with the Guild of One Name Studies (GOONS) in England in order to further the study of the Crago surname worldwide. Any Crago, Cragoe or Craigo in the World is encouraged to join these efforts. | |

I was just wondering if you know how Elizabeth Crago died? She died at the age of 26 and I realize there's many ways she could have died back then, but I'm curious of the answer. I'm wondering because Tate cementary is in my town and it's the oldest cementary in town and I realized that many Crago's were buried in that cementary. His death record has him buried in I O O F Cemetery at Edmund, WV. Edmund is in Fayette Co., WV. There is an I O O F Cemetery, not far from Edmund in Oak Hill, Fayette Co., WV. Wonder if he could be buried in Fayette Co., WV.
