Started searching for the Roots of my family back in 1979. I found the original christening records of my great grandmother from Scotland. I thought I had found myself a new LITTLE Hobby. Wow, was I ever wrong. Its a lifetime search. I tell anyone who loves a good mystery and is interested in history that they have their very own waiting for them. My quest has brought me into contact over the years with many delightful new family members and new contacts all over the place. How fun is that??? I think Find A grave is a great source of information. Its the ulitmate way to cross those Ts and dot those Is we all have because we are unable to get to all the places our family members were laid to rest.
RE: Carroll and Collins Families Judy, Yes there is a map. The one I have just has the sections on it but I'm sure if you call the sexton of Maple Grove he can give you what you want. He is quite helpful. When I get to work on Wed I will try to remember to look his number up.
Joseph Buckner Caston #25163436 and his son, Joseph Seth Caston # 25163507 Hi Judy...I noticed you put a photo of my 2nd great grandfather, Joseph Buckner Caston and also of his son, Seth, on their pages. I was wondering if you have a photo or any info on Amarintha McGehee Caston (Joseph Buckner's wife and Seth's mother). I am having trouble finding any info on her or where she is buried at.
RE: Olive Jeffers Not a problem at all. It makes me feel really good when I can fulfill a photo request, as so many have done for me! It took a little while to find Olive's headstone since it is pretty faded, but I hope the picture turned out okay.
RE: Mildred Foster Thank you adding the photo's to her page & her husband's page (J E Carter Foster). Sorry you forgot to add her birth & death locations that I provided. This really helps the "Little" family in locating information. She did have an L as a middle name but never developed her middle name. Cannot locate her obituary. Have a great weekend & holiday - Sue Armstrong
