Bio and Links
Bio Photo Most of my photos are geotagged. Remember, GPS isn't exact, but it sure can be helpful to locate a stone.

If I've been helpful in your search, I'd love to hear about it. Drop me a line and let me know who you found.

Corrections: Even though FindAGrave is a grave registration site, not a genealogy site, I love to add information, fix errors and make family links, so please feel free to send them to me via the Suggest A Correction button.

Feel free to add your photos to all memorials. Your name and link to your profile will appear with the photo.

Transfers: If I have prepared a memorial for your family member and you would like it transferred to you, please use the Suggest a Correction Link located in the upper right hand corner of each memorial. In your message, please state your relationship to the deceased. I use the FindAGrave transfer guidelines as a starting point for transfers, but often grant transfers outside of those guidelines. Telling me you are "related" and "you have information to add" probably won't get a transfer. You'll have the greatest chance of getting an 'out of guidelines transfer' if you tell me something interesting about the person or your family's connection to southern Indiana.

Attribution to the photographer and/or Find A Grave is REQUIRED. I say this because I provide these pictures to you free and I want them to remain free. Some sites will steal these photos or charge people for them. I fight to keep that from happening and may issue take-down notices to any site that I find with my photos not attributed to me or Find-A-Grave, including I spend my time and money to help you find your family, I'm not interested in other people making money off me helping you.

RE: Andrew & Sarah Harmon Weddle
Hello again,

Just read your message on Find A Grave. Yes, I have some info on Wm N. McDonald. Pernicia, his sister, was my 2nd great grandmother. I personally know direct descendants of his family. Go to my Find A Grave page and contact me personally or contact me at the JC History Center on Tuesday mornings and I will share with you. How are you related?

Thanks again,

# 50511228 Charles F. Ross

Obit for this fellow and a correction needed as he is listed as Charles E. Ross.

April 20, 1939 - Plain Dealer Republican News

Charles Frederick Ross, eighty-one years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Nettie Kaiser, at Tipton, Friday April 14. The body was brought to Tea Creek Church in Lovett Township, where funeral services were held Monday, conducted by the Rev. J. M. Swarthout, of Butlerville assisted by the Rev. Rufus Grey, pastor of the church. The burial took place in Tea Creek Cemetery.
Charles Frederick Ross, son of John and Elizabeth Ross, was born February 22, 1858 in Lovett township, Jennings County. Early in life he united with the Tea Creek Baptist Church and later was ordained a deacon and at the time of his death he was the oldest deacon of the church.
On April 29, 1877, he was married to Charlotte Adams, and to this union four children were born, one of whom Frederick died in infancy. After the death of his wife, he married Mary A. Hoffman, who died in 1920.
He is survived, by three children: Mrs. Rosa Hoffman, of Commiskey; Mrs. Emma Wrapp, of Clough, South Dakota; and Mrs. Nettie Kaiser, of Tipton; also by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one brother J. A. Ross, of Vernon; three nephews, a number of other relatives and a host of friends.
His entire life was spent in Lovett Township up to about two months ago when he went to Tipton to make his home with his daughter.

Hiram Kyte
I went to cemetery to see my great-grandfather, Hiram Kyte. He's in Newbern Christain Cemetary, Newbern, In. You have put a picture of his grave stone & it had fallen & couldn't read it. TODAY, it was beautifully redone! It has been cleaned, & reconcreted. I was SO excited. Please tell me who is responsible for this great surprise. I surely want to thank them
Thank you,
