I started taking pictures and adding data after my own mother died.
I was doing research on a neighborhood history project and accidently ran across a picture of that families' mausoleum on find a grave.
After looking at the site, I decided to add my family to the collection. When I took pictures of my families stones, I took others near them. Then I took pictures of good looking stones and monuments and odd ones or old ones.
Now, I try to honor any I find. I feel I am helping people find their history and honoring those who went before us.
I hope that if anyone finds their loved ones through me, that they will see it in that way.

Thank you. It is amazing that we had a relative that did a lot of work on the family and published a book. He had her buried in Jackson County, TN and then I found this last night. He and his wife are no longer with us and didn't have Ancestry when they did this back in 1996.

Thank you for the kind words. They are not family to us but one of many photos we took while visiting this cemetery. We created a memorial for them seeing there was not one already. If you wish to manage them we would be glad to make the transfer. This way you can add to their Bio's if you wish and link them to other family members.
